摘要： A fire suppression system having a first triggering mechanism capable of being remotely triggered in response to a fire condition and a second manual triggering mechanism. More particularly, the fire extinguisher includes a valve for a fire extinguisher capable of manual and automatic operation. The system further includes a mechanism to notify of inoperable local status. During automatic operation, the system can be being triggered by a control panel in electrical communication, such as in response to a signal from smoke detectors. This system may also be manually triggered or in response to a temperature threshold sensor or other sensors. The valve includes an actuator that provides a separate area to place a safety pin for storing securely, and which provides feedback to the control system that the safety pin is properly stored and therefore, the fire extinguisher is active.

The device comprises an electrical firing circuit 20 configured to cause fire suppressant to be discharged from a discharge valve if triggered, and at least one arming switch 24 in the firing circuit 20 that is movable between an open position and a closed position. The arming switch 24 is arranged on the device and configured so as to be automatically moved to the closed position by connection of the device to a mounting frame 30 and/or to fire suppressant distribution pipework 24 so as to arm the firing circuit 20.

摘要： An embodiment of the present invention includes an advanced adjustable density misting delivery system (AMDS) for detecting and neutralizing a fire. The AMDS includes a bladder containing a fire suppressant material, a pump operatively connected to the bladder via a tube, and a nozzle operatively connected to the pump and the bladder via the tube. The AMDS also includes a controller electrically connected to the pump and a sensor in communication with the controller, where the sensor is configured to detect a parameter that indicates the presence of the fire. The controller is configured to transition the pump from a deactivated state to an activated state when the sensor detects the parameter, such that in the deactivated state the pump does not operate, and in the activated state the pump causes the fire suppressant to flow from the bladder, through the tube, and out the nozzle.

The sensors are configured to detect a fire proximate to the structure and to signal the controller to motivate the pump to compel the fire suppressing liquid through the emitters to the exterior of the structure.
