摘要： The switching device for an air purifier contains a circuit board, a timing and switching module, a manual switch, a fan module, a positive and negative ion production module, and a negative ion production module. Under an automatic mode, the two ion production modules are activated alternately whereas, under a manual mode, the positive and negative ion production module is activated alone, thereby achieving greater flexibility.

The air blower is held between the holding case mounted to the body case and the mount as a part of the body case. Two mounting members are formed on the fan casing. One mounting member is held between a pair of regulating members and formed on the holding case. The other mounting member is held between regulating members and formed on the holding case and the mount, respectively.

A device for carrying out the method includes at least one surface precipitator having a plurality of channels through which the exhaust gas can flow and extending between an inlet region and an outlet region, and at least one deposit inhibitor for electrically charged soot particles provided in at least part of the inlet region, especially allowing the soot particles to be evenly deposited and the surface precipitator to be continuously regenerated.
