摘要： A method for manufacturing a tube includes continuously moving a tubular hollow blank through an expansion tool, and supplying fluid to a space delimited by the expansion tool and the tubular hollow blank the such that a hydraulic pressure is applied inside the tubular hollow blank. The magnitude of the hydraulic pressure is selected such that the tubular hollow blank is deformed plastically. The disclosure also relates to an arrangement for manufacturing a tube.

摘要： A forming device includes a gas supply part supplying a gas into a metal pipe material held and heated between a first die and a second die paired with each other. A driving mechanism moves at least one of the first die and the second die in a direction in which the dies are combined together. A first cavity part is formed between the first die and the second die to form the pipe part. A second cavity part communicates with the first cavity part to form the flange part. A flange forming member can be allowed to advance or retreat in the second cavity part, and forms the flange part. A controller controls the gas supply of the gas supply part, the driving of the driving mechanism, and the advance or retreat of the flange forming member.

摘要： A hydroforming apparatus and working method able to simply find a load path are proposed, which system and method use a mold in which contact sensors able to judge contact with a metal tube inside the mold are mounted at least at two different positions in the tube axial direction, perform a first step of axially pushing tube ends in a state with the internal pressure held at a constant value and stopping the progress of the axial pushing action when judging that among the contact sensors not yet in contact mounted at positions closest to the tube ends detect contact with the metal tube, next perform a second step of raising only the internal pressure while leaving the positions of the tube ends fixed and stopping the increase in the internal pressure when the contact sensor not yet in contact judges contact, next perform a third step of lowering the internal pressure to the value before raising it while leaving the positions of the tube ends fixed, and repeat said first step to third step until all of said contact sensors judge contact so as to obtain a hydroformed part.

摘要： The invention relates to a heat exchanger, especially a heat exchanger for motor vehicles, comprising a bank of tubes through which a gaseous medium flows and around which a liquid coolant flows. The ends of said tubes are received in tube plates and are connected to the same in a material fit. The inventive heat exchanger also comprises a housing jacket which surrounds the bank of tubes and is connected, at the end thereof, to the tube plates. A coolant flows through said housing jacket. The tubes, tube plates and housing jacket are produced from a heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant metallic alloy. According to the invention, the housing jacket comprises at least one surrounding expansion flange.

摘要： A method of forming a bottle-shaped or other contoured metal container by subjecting a hollow metal preform having a closed end to internal fluid pressure to cause the preform to expand against the wall of a die cavity defining the desired shape, and advancing a punch by means of a backing ram into the die cavity to displace and deform the closed end of the preform either before or after expansion begins but before it is complete. The pressure-subjecting step is performed by simultaneously subjecting the preform in the die cavity to independently controllable internal and external positive fluid pressures and varying the difference between them to control strain rate. Apparatus for performing the method includes a split die with plural split inserts disposed in tandem to define the die cavity wall and heaters respectively inserted within the preform and arranged to heat the backing ram.
