摘要： Disclosed are embodiments of a temperature regulated vessel and a fluid delivery device, and methods of use thereof. The vessel can be used in an injection molding apparatus and include one or more temperature regulating lines configured to flow a fluid or liquid within the body (e.g., to heat a cold device). The fluid delivery device is mounted in the apparatus and has a collar with an opening extending therethrough to sealingly mate with the vessel. A delivery channel is provided within the collar for directing an input flow of fluid into the vessel. An exit channel can also be provided within the collar for directing an output flow of the fluid from the vessel.

摘要： A device is provided for controlling the advancing movement of a casting plunger in a casting chamber of a cold-chamber die casting machine by way of an actuating signal, the advancing movement comprising a chamber filling movement phase from a partial filling position, with a partially filled casting chamber starting volume, to a full filling position, with a filled casting chamber remaining volume. In the device, a respective associated progression of an actuating signal is provided for different specified sets of values of a plurality of process parameters that influence the movement of the molten material in the casting chamber during the chamber filling movement phase, which progression is defined as the most suitable actuating signal progression for the particular set of parameter values. The device is designed to use the most suitable actuating signal progression in dependence on values of the process parameters pertaining at the beginning of a casting cycle for controlling the casting plunger advancing movement during the chamber filling movement phase. The plurality of process parameters include at least one casting chamber geometry parameter, at least one filling amount parameter, at least one casting mold parameter and/or at least one casting chamber temperature or molten material temperature parameter.

摘要： The invention relates to a die casting ring (1) internally fitted with radial teeth (11) to be engaged into matching seats (22) provided on a piston (2). This piston-ring assembly prevents mutual rotation or axial translation, in addition to ensuring an optimal seal against infiltration of liquid metal during the die casting process. When the ring has a cutout (10), it can be mounted accurately onto the piston because the teeth (11) allow the cutout to be positioned anywhere relative to the piston.

摘要： Disclosed is a casting machine in which first and second die halves define a die cavity in the shape of the article to be cast and a narrow runner opening into the cavity. A shot sleeve, having an upwardly oriented injection chamber, is connected to one of said die halves such that the top end of the injection chamber is in communication with the runner. A plunger, disposed for reciprocating motion in the chamber, has an upper face including a concavity for receiving sufficient casting material, such as molten metal, to form the article and for carrying the casting material out of contact of the shot sleeve when the plunger is advanced upwardly in the chamber. At least one of said die halves further defines a convexity projecting into the chamber, the convexity being adapted to cooperatively mate with the concavity and displace the casting material therefrom, through the runner and into the die cavity when the plunger is advanced to the top of the chamber. Contact between the casting material and shot sleeve and the problems associated therewith are essentially eliminated with the improved casting machine.
