摘要： In one embodiment, weld torch angle tools are provided to present an operator with the work angle and travel angle measured as taught in the weld point. The operator is presented with buttons to make small adjustments which the robot will move to in live updates to independently tune each angle. If the base plate is tilted, a workflow is provided to the operator to teach that tilt to the robot, allowing the measured angles and axes to be adjusted accordingly. This allows the operator to accurately dial in the exact angle measures specified for a given weld and to visually confirm the validity of the weld point as adjusted, to prevent any unexpected collision or robot reach issues.

In one aspect, the assembly robotic system performs at least one of a first or second scan operation. In the first scan operation, one or more scan poses is selected from among a plurality of generated candidate poses. For each scan pose of the one or more scan poses, the controller initiates a scan operation associated with a region identified to include a seam associated with a feature of the object. As part of the second scan operation, for each candidate scan pose, a scan operation is simulated. Based on the generated simulated scan data, multiple scan poses are selected and a scan trajectory is generated for a scan operation. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

摘要： Disclosed welding-type systems include a welding-type power source to generate output power for a periodic welding process that operates in an arc mode, an open circuit mode or a short circuit mode. A wire-feeder advances an electrode wire toward a workpiece. A controller adjusts the current to below a threshold value during the arc mode to result in the open circuit mode prior to occurrence of a short circuit event based on one or more welding process parameters. In some examples, the controller determines the occurrence of the short circuit event based on the one or more welding process parameters, and adjusts the current to rise above a second threshold level to adjust a heat generated in the welding wire in response to the occurrence of the short circuit.

A central axis of the welding torch and the measurement axis of the temperature sensor are in a relation of three-dimensionally intersecting in a space, and a position where the central axis and the measurement axis three-dimensionally intersect is ahead of a tip end of the welding torch on the central axis of the welding torch. The control device controls movement of the welding torch such that the measurement axis is positioned at a measurement position of the temperature calculated in advance.

摘要： A welding device and a short-circuit welding method uses successive welding cycles having respective arc and short-circuit phases. The method includes: conveying a welding wire from a workpiece, bringing the wire to a final rearward speed in a first rearward conveying phase and then conveying it at that speed until a second rearward conveying phase where the rearward speed is reduced; and conveying the wire toward the workpiece, the welding wire being brought to a final forward speed in a first forward conveying phase and being conveyed at that speed until the beginning of a second forward conveying phase where the forward speed is reduced. The first duration is adapted using a feedforward control and/or feedback control such that the welding wire does not exceed a specified reduced rearward speed in the second rearward conveying phase at the point in time at which the short-circuit is interrupted.

摘要： Disclosed are an automatic welding system and method for large structural parts based on hybrid robots and 3D vision. The system comprises a hybrid robot system composed of a mobile robot and an MDOF robot, a 3D vision system, and a welding system used for welding. The rough positioning technique based on a mobile platform and the accurate recognition and positioning technique based on high-accuracy 3D vision are combined, so the working range of the MDOF robot in the XYZ directions is expanded, and flexible welding of large structural parts is realized. The invention adopts 3D vision, thus having better error tolerance and lower requirements for the machining accuracy of workpieces, positioning accuracy of mobile robots and placement accuracy of the workpieces; and the cost is reduced, the flexibility is improved, the working range is expanded, labor is saved, production efficiency is improved, and welding quality is improved.
