摘要： A manufacturing process is disclosed which relates to the technical field of the manufacture of wood panels, used in the manufacture of furniture, decorative pieces, floorings, partitions, stairs, doors and other applications in the construction industry, more specifically to a manufacturing process and products resulting from panels featuring structural edges made of pieces of wood and central core in a composition of branch/trunk stumps and resin. The invention presents as innovation, a manufacturing process (1) of decorative surface panels (2), using as raw material in their core and texture, tree branch and trunk stumps (3) originating from pruning or that were ripped off due to the action of the wind or natural causes, which have had resin applied (6) inside the structural base plates (4) of the desired shapes or part of them, consisting of ends or edges (5) made of pieces of wood, preferably reclaimed from the construction industry.

摘要： A method for producing wood material boards with reduced emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including: a) producing woodchips from suitable timbers; b) heat-treating at least one portion of the woodchips at a temperature between 150° C. and 300° C. for a period of 1 to 5 hours; c) crushing the wood chips that are not heat-treated and at least one portion of the heat-treated woodchips by machining in order to obtain wood shavings or by solubilizing in order to obtain wood fibers; d) gluing the wood shavings or wood fibers with at least one binding agent; e) applying the glued wood shavings onto a transport belt while forming a multi-layered shavings cake or applying the glued wood fibers onto a transport belt while forming a single-layer fiber cake; and f) compressing the shavings cake or the fiber cake to form a wood material board.

摘要： A lignocellulosic composite article includes a plurality of lignocellulosic pieces and an adhesive system disposed on the plurality of lignocellulosic pieces for bonding the plurality of lignocellulosic pieces. The adhesive system includes a binder component and a compatibilizer component. An example of a suitable binder component is an isocyanate component, e.g. a diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), a polymeric diphenylmethane diisocyanate (pMDI), and combinations thereof. The compatibilizer component includes a trialkyl phosphate. The compatibilizer component is utilized in an amount of at least about 0.5 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the binder component. The compatibilizer component is useful for reducing the amount of press time required during manufacture of the composite article. The adhesive system can include additional components, such as an isocyanate-reactive component. The composite article may be various lignocellulosic composites, such as oriented strand board (OSB), particleboard (PB), fiberboard (e.g. medium density fiberboard; MDF), etc.

摘要： A manufactured hemp product comprising a plurality of adhesively bonded and pressed hemp strands where the majority of the hemp strands are of generally the same length and comprise a naturally-occurring, generally elongate internal structure extending generally along one axis of the strand that has been at least partially laterally broken and at least permeated by an adhesive. The hemp strands are oriented roughly parallel to one another along their length. The manufactured hemp product comprises an amount of adhesive between about 5% to about 49% by weight. The manufactured hemp product can be used as a wood substitute in terms of appearance and performance. The manufactured hemp products may have aesthetic and structural qualities that are suitable for high traffic, high visibility applications such as boards, blocks, beams, panels, flooring, furniture, building materials and other wood products.

Processes for preparing such DG based bio-adhesives and algal bio-adhesives are provided, comprising the steps of: combining DG biomass or algal material with a cross-linking agent and inorganic fillers to form a blend; micronisation or homogenisation of the blend to obtain powdery material; and mixing the powdery material with additional water to form a bio-adhesive.
