    • A book format, and methods to create such books, where the first story page on one of the leaves of the book and a second story page on an adjacent leaf are in diametric contraposition to each other. The first set of first story pages carries an illustration of a portion of a story with each successive first story page carrying another illustration of another portion of the story, so that the set of first story pages taken together illustrate substantially the entire story. The second story pages carry mirror images of the illustrations on their corresponding first story pages. The pages are disposed so that the audience sees the first story pages and their respective illustrations while the storyteller or reader sees the second story pages, optionally with text, and the mirror images of the illustrations corresponding to the first story pages viewed by the audience.

    • A business card comprises front and back sides and a flap permanently attached to the business card. The flap comprises front and back sides and an adhesive on at least a portion of the flap's back side. The adhesive is capable of removably and reusably adhering to objects. The flap is foldable with respect to the business card such that the flap can be placed in at least two configurations. In a first configuration, the adhesive adheres to a portion of the back side of the business card, so that the business card is non-adhesive and can be used like a convention business card. In a second configuration, the flap aligns at least approximately with the business card, thereby presenting the flap's adhesive to be able to adhere to another object such that the front side of the business card faces outward from said another object.

    • Methods for creating customized children's storybooks with fingerprint art using fingerprint-ready templates stored in association with a software application on a desktop computer, a tablet computer, or a smart phone. The methods include the use of preconfigured templates and prompted discussions that elicit responses from the child to create text for the storybook. The text may be generated by speech recognition software processing digital audio recordings of the child's responses. A digital image of the child's fingerprint is acquired and the fingerprint image and/or the storybook scenes are scaled to fit each other. Fingerprint-ready image templates are used to facilitate the creation of fingerprint art. A completed page image is formed by digitally inserting a fingerprint into the fingerprint-shaped area, and if desired, coloring the image or drawing a scene around the image. When the scenes are completed the software application compiles the book pages and prints the same.

    • A journal system for promoting a person's personal growth and a method of guiding journal entries are provided. The journal system includes a journal page configured to receive entries from a user and a plurality of repositionable guides. Each repositionable guide of the journal system includes a different intention to assist the user in making an entry on the journal page. The repositionable guides are individually positionable on the journal to provide the intention. The journal system also includes a storage location for the plurality of repositionable guides. The storage location is separate from the journal page so that the plurality of repositionable guides are not viewable on the journal page until the selected one of the plurality of repositionable guides is positioned on the page by the user.
