The formed bottom of the U can be mounted over an automobile glass window and then the window is closed so as to retain the device mounted on an automobile. The ends of the flattened tubular member are slanted or tapered transversely to the width of the tubular member so that when the device is mounted in one direction on an automobile window, forward motion of the automobile will effect a vacuum along the outer edge of the tubular member and thus suck air from inside the automobile. When the device is mounted in the opposite direction on an automobile window, pressure created by movement of the vehicle along the outer edge of the tubular member creates air pressure within the automobile.

摘要： A vent window assembly or filter comprises a continuous channel frame mountable within an opening in a building for a door or window, or within an opening in a vehicle body at the side, roof or rear window area. A laminate consisting of a pair of transparent sheets of plastic material and an intermediate thin plastic screen is nested and retained within the frame. Each of the sheets have a plurality of vertically spaced rows of longitudinally spaced apertures therethrough of a dimension considerably larger than the screen apertures. The apertures in the sheets are in alignment to permit flow of air therethrough, the screen restricting the flow of dirt particles and insects. A vent closure sheet of transparent material is slidably mounted within the frame snugly engaging one of the sheets having therein a corresponding series of similar apertures aligned with the sheet apertures and adjustable for progressively displacing its apertures relative to the laminate apertures for closing off the flow of air.

摘要： An air flow device for positioning in the rear windows of closed motor vehicles and boats. The device has a frame which fits within the window or an unclosed portion of the window. Means are provided for attaching the device frame to the window frame. A transparent plate is attached at its bottom to the bottom portion of the device frame on its side inside of the motor vehicle. The transparent plate is positioned at its top away from the top of the device frame (or the vertical plane of the window). A gap exists between the top of the device frame and the top of the plate. There are two side members, each of which is attached to a set of corresponding ends of the device frame and the plate. The side members prevent lateral air flow into the motor vehicle.
