    • An air shield is provided over a portal access opening between a vehicle access member and a stationary vehicle trim member. The vehicle access member provides access to a compartment of an interior of the vehicle. An air supply device is disposed within the vehicle. The air supply device is capable of producing a burst of air that discharges upon opening of the vehicle access member. An air concentrator device is in fluid communication with the air supply device. The air concentrator device outputs the burst of air that forms the air shield in a direction substantially transverse to the portal opening. The air shield is formed across at least a portion of a perimeter of the portal access opening between the vehicle access member and the stationary vehicle trim member. The air shield inhibits precipitation from entering the compartment of the vehicle during a pressure equalization phase that occurs in response to the opening of the vehicle access member.

    • A vehicle enclosure (14) and method and system of installation using an adhesive-backed attachment device (1) having a base (4) with an adhesive backing (10) and a stud (12) or a socket (2) that engages a conventional a conventional snap (8). The adhesive-backed attachment device is preferably flexible so that it may be attached to uneven surfaces of a vehicle, such as a golf cart (15). The adhesive-backed attachment device eliminates unsightly brackets, drilling or screwing into the golf cart and cuts down on installation time of golf cart enclosures. The studs and sockets may also be integrated into a new roof (14) for retrofitting an existing golf cart.

    • The present invention comprises a method and associated devices for reducing the noise produced by an open cavity within a moving automobile (such as open sunroofs and open windows). The invention proposes placing microjet orifices proximate the open cavity. These inject small but rapidly moving columns of air into the prevailing flow. The projected columns reduce the formation of large coherent structures in the prevailing flow. As these large coherent structures are a critical component of the resonance which is responsible for much of the noise produced across the open cavity, the overall noise level is reduced by the microjets.

    • Truck air foils, more particularly air foils which serve to deflect or direct air flow normally impinging on the front of a truck or a trailer box in such a manner as to decrease wind resistance thereagainst, the air foils being adjustable to accommodate, for different sizes and configuration of trucks, tractors and trailers, and for adjustably varying the flow angle and direction of the air.
