摘要： The invention is related to a portable vehicle monitoring system that is to be mounted on mobile objects such as police cars for security purposes and ambulances which have right of way; characterized in that it comprises a camera placed on the front right and front left and both sides of the system which enables the system to capture images and recognize faces, LED lighting located around the cameras which are directed towards visual direction and which enable capturing of legible images even at night time police lights placed at the front and rear faces of the base which can flash on and off when necessary, an alarm control device, Ethernet connection forming the network, a cooling device which eliminates the heat formed inside the apparatus, a control card which operates the police lights, modem which continuously provide wireless communication and a top cover which encloses the entire system.

摘要： One aspect of the present invention includes artificial vision system. The system includes an image system comprising a video source that is configured to capture sequential frames of image data of non-visible light and at least one processor configured as an image processing system. The image processing system includes a wavelet enhancement component configured to normalize each pixel of each of the sequential frames of image data and to decompose the normalized image data into a plurality of wavelet frequency bands. The image processing system also includes a video processor configured to convert the plurality of wavelet frequency bands in the sequential frames into respective visible color images. The system also includes a video display system configured to display the visible color images.

Vehicle event recorders equipped with video cameras capture video and other data records of important events relating to vehicle use. These data are then transmitted over special communications networks having very high coverage space but limited bandwidth. A vehicle may be operated over very large region while maintaining continuous communications connections with a remote fixed server. As such, systems of these inventions may be characterized as including a mobile unit having: a video camera; a microprocessor; memory; an event trigger; and mobile wireless transceivers, and a fixed network portion including: mobile wireless cellular network, a protocol translation gateway, the Internet and an application-specific server.

An imaging system can be coupled to a vehicle and can comprise: a plurality of imaging sensors with multiple spectrums; and a processing unit configured to generate an image model in substantially real-time by: warping, fusing, and stitching images; and two or more displays coupled to the processing unit such that the two or more displays can simultaneously each show a different portion of the image model, and such that a user can manually calibrate via the processing unit at least one of the warping, fusing, or stitching. In some imaging systems, imaging sensors are coupled at different elevations relative to a ground vehicle. The present sensor pods can comprise a housing; two or more first imaging sensors having a first spectrum; and two or more second imaging sensors having a second spectrum that is different than the first spectrum.

摘要： A vehicular vision system includes a control and an imager having a lens and a CMOS photosensor array. The imager is disposed at an interior portion of a vehicle and views exterior of the vehicle through a windshield of the vehicle and forward of the vehicle. The control includes an image processor for processing image data captured by the photosensor array. The image processor processes captured image data to detect an object viewed by said imager. The photosensor array may be operable at a plurality of exposure periods that include a first exposure period and a second exposure period, with the time period of exposure of the first exposure period being longer than the time period of exposure of the second exposure period. The imager may be disposed in a module attached at the windshield of the vehicle.

摘要： An image pickup device that acquires images is controlled by an image pickup device controller that accepts image acquisition requests from multiple application programs, and an application scheduler selects application programs to be executed. Information indicative of the image data volumes and image data acquisition rates required for each of the multiple application programs is stored and used to select multiple concurrently executable application programs on the basis of the image data volumes and image data acquisition rates. An image acquisition scheduler determines the timing and intervals at which the multiple executable application programs repeat receiving image data from the image pickup device, without overlapping in terms of time. In addition, an operations section, which explicitly presents concurrently executable application programs to a user and commands the startup of these programs, is displayed on a navigation screen menu.

摘要： A vehicular vision system includes a photosensor array having a forward field of view to the exterior of the vehicle through the windshield of the vehicle. A portion of the photosensor array captures image data representative of an item of interest exterior the vehicle and within the forward field of view. A control is responsive to an output of the photosensor array and includes an image processor for processing the image data. At least responsive to the control analyzing the image data, the image sensing system senses the presence of an object within the field of view of the photosensor array, and the image sensing system, responsive at least in part to sensing the presence of the object, at least one of (i) controls a vehicle system using forward field of view information and (ii) supplements control of a vehicle system using forward field of view information.

The at least one camera is arranged behind the reflective layer in a viewing direction viewed from the front side. The at least one camera takes images through the reflective layer. The electrochromic mirror glass has an electrochromic layer and the reflective layer is arranged behind the electrochromic layer in the viewing direction.
