摘要： A surfboard locking system includes a device for providing a securement point allowing a surfboard to be secured to a lock. The device includes at least a first piece and a second piece, each piece sized and shaped to be insertable into a fin box opening of a surfboard fin box. The first and second pieces are pieces couplable together within the fin box to form a securement, the securement sized and shaped such that the securement cannot be removed through the fin box opening. One of the pieces can include a passageway sized and shaped to accommodate a portion of a lock, such as the shackle of a padlock, to allow the surfboard to be securely locked to a cable or other object.

The small form factor preventing disruption of activities of a user undertaken while wearing the miniature breathing device. A canister within the housing stores a mixture of compressed air. An actuator on the housing to controllably releases the compressed air from the canister. A regulator piston within the housing is shaped with chambers to decompress the compressed air to breathable form. A mouthpiece opening of the housing provides breathable air to lips of a user. A strap secures the miniature breathing device to the user during activities.

摘要： A standup paddleboard outrigger includes a long, narrow, lightweight displacement hull and a pair of outrigger pontoons mounted to a bridge. The two parts disengage for easy storage and transport. The hull has a platform to stand on. Paddling with a long handled paddle propels the craft through the water. The outriggers provide lateral stability/support and actuate the rudder in order to make turns. When a person stands on the platform and shifts body weight, the rudder will rotate to the right and the craft will turn to the right. The more weight that is shifted, the greater the turning action. The responsiveness to the shift of body weight can be adjustable for personal preference either firmer or more flexible, as is the turning response of the rudder fine or coarse turning.

The surf leash apparatus includes a cuff for attaching to a limb of a surfer, the cuff having an inner surface, the inner surface of the cuff having a pattern of compressible grips disposed thereon. The surf leash further includes an attachment mechanism for attaching to a surfboard, and a leash cord connected between the cuff and the attachment mechanism. The leash cord includes an elastic fiber rope core having a predetermined amount of stretch, and an extruded thermoplastic urethane cord surrounding the elastic fiber rope core. The extruded thermoplastic urethane cord has an elasticity corresponding to the predetermined amount of stretch of the elastic fiber rope.

摘要： A rowing device conversion kit for a stand up paddleboard (SUP) includes a frame assembly with seat tracks; a seat assembly with a rolling seat; and a rigger assembly. The frame assembly is attached to the SUP with four attachment clamps that each engage a portion of a rail of the stand up paddleboard. Universal attachment clamps are metal coated in non-slip plastic or rubber, so that the clamps conform to the profile of the rails. The clamps are strapped to the frame assembly by wrapping straps around the frame; tightening the straps; and buckling the straps. A locking mechanism keeps the seat in place as the user is climbing on or off the SUP. The rowing mechanism folds up into a bag the size of a golf club bag. The rigger detaches from the framework and breaks down into two pieces.

摘要： This invention provides a paddle retainer for stand-up paddleboards. There are two basic embodiments of the idea: a plug with a paddle-retaining slit that can be attached wherever the user wishes to attach it on the SUP, and a paddle-retaining slit built into the kicktail of the SUP. With both embodiments, the tip of the paddle is held within the slit portion by friction, such that SUP users can easily “store” their paddles in a vertical position while engaging in activities such as fishing that require them to store their paddles, and then easily retrieve their paddles without bending over to pick them up. The plug optionally has one or more holes into which fishing rods can be removably secured.
