摘要： The sealing device for packages that includes a control unit, a sealing station, an unwinder for a film web, a cutting device provided upstream of the sealing station and used for producing film sections of the film web, a film feed device for feeding the film sections to the sealing station, a conveying device for conveying packages into the sealing station. Preferrably, the packages include food packed in a gas-tight manner. Further, the sealing station may comprise upper and lower sealing elements that are configured for clamping the package and the film section in common between the lower and upper sealing elements and for sealing the film section onto the package. The sealing device may also include the sealing elements being adapted to be synchronously moved along with the continuously moving package during the sealing process.

摘要： A process for preparing a ready-to-eat mature coconut in which coconuts are selected based on its flotation characteristics, higher floaters being more mature. An oval or circular groove is carved partially into the bottom of the coconut shell. The coconut is then sealed into a heat tolerant plastic bag in which it is cooked, then frozen. Pieces of coconut husk are roasted until they turn black, then boiled in water to obtain a vapor that condenses to a liquid extraction, which is added to the bag before sealing it. The sealed bag is then heated to obtain sweet coconut water, some separation of coconut meat from the coconut shell, and the expansion of the coconut water during the spraying of steam to slightly split the coconut shell along the carved groove whereby the tip of a spoon can be used to pry off the coconut shell.

By affixing the information cards in a repetitive pattern along the tape (20) the assembled tape can be folded and individual blisters are no longer lost. An edge (6) for severing the tape allows the removal of a single information card-blister assembly from the assembled tape. Separating the information cards on the tape allows room for folding the tape. Ensuring that the holes cut in the tape do not overlap allows the distance between the information cards along the tape to be reduced and result in an efficient stacking of the blisters when the tape is folded.

The tag applicator includes a linear actuator, and a pair of tag arms, one end of each being pivotably connected to the linear actuator. The two arms are biased toward each other, such as by a spring. A separator is positioned between the tag arms, so as to force the tag arms to separate as the linear actuator extends. A finger or tag hook is connected at the end of each tag arm, configured and positioned to connect to or insert into the elastic loop, and to extend the elastic loop as the tag arms are separated. With the tag loop held open, the product moves into the loop, and the tag is thereby applied to the product.
