摘要： The present invention is directed to a peel-open package having a first film comprising an exterior sealant layer comprising a polyolefin polymer resin and a fatty acid or a fatty acid derivative, and a second film comprising an exterior layer comprising paper or a nonwoven material. The paper or nonwoven material is adhered to the sealant layer of the first film to form a peelable interface therebetween and to enclose a product, to accordance with the present invention, the polyolefin sealant layer of the first film is heat sealed directly to the paper or nonwoven material of the second film to form a peelable seal which can be readily peeled without substantial release of free fibers form the paper or nonwoven material.

摘要： An ordering system that fills a prescription order is described. The ordering system comprises a Graphical User Interface, a transactional component, a production facility, a detailed labeling component, and a distribution point. The GUI is configured to receive at least one prescription order that is associated with a particular patient wherein the at least one prescription order comprises at least two different medications. The transactional component charges for processing the prescription order. The production facility receives the prescription order and fills a plurality of multiple prescription containers. Each of the multiple prescription containers is associated with a prescribed time interval determined by the prescription order, and each multiple prescription container comprises the different medications that are to be consumed at the prescribed time interval. The detailed labeling component is associated with the production facility, and the detailed labeling component is configured to generate a detailed label that provides a plurality of medical information regarding the medications to the patient. The distribution point provides the multiple prescription containers and the detailed label to the particular patient.

The method includes filling each package with the at least two different medications. A package that is to be inspected is selected by a process control module. A first automated inspection examines the different medications with a first measurement device. A first measurement result is generated. A first automated inspection result is generated by comparing a first expected inspection value with the first measurement result. A second automated inspection having a second measurement device generates a second measurement result. A second automated inspection result is generated by comparing a second expected inspection value with the second measurement result. An analytical module then proceeds to compare the first automated inspection result and the second automated inspection result.

The production facility comprises a means for processing a multiple prescription order, a plurality of multiple prescription containers, a first labeling component, a first inspection module, a second labeling component and a second inspection module. The means for processing the multiple prescription order is associated with a particular patient, and the multiple prescription order comprises at least two different tablets that are consumed at prescribed intervals determined by a prescription. Each of the plurality of multiple prescription containers is associated with a prescribed time interval determined by the multiple prescription order, and each multiple prescription container is configured to receive the different medications. The first labeling component is configured to generate a detailed label that provides a plurality of medical information regarding the different tablets. The first inspection module is configured to inspect an open multiple prescription container having the different tablets. The second labeling component is configured to print a date and a time on a lidstock for the patient to consume the tablets, and the second labeling component is configured to fixedly couple the lidstock to each multiple prescription container thereby sealing the multiple prescription containers. The detailed label provides a plurality of medical information regarding the medications. The secondary package configured to receive the sealed multiple prescription containers and the detailed label.
