摘要： The invention relates to a peptide compound and its pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting platelet aggregation and preventing/treating thrombogenic diseases. The invention develops pentapeptides and hexapeptides derived from snake venom C-type lectin-like proteins (CLPs) fragments, which can inhibit platelet aggregation and have antithrombotic activity without hemorrhagic tendency. Accordingly, they can be used as potential agents for the prevention and therapy of thrombogenic diseases.

摘要： A cyclic dipeptide-containing composition containing each of tyrosine-containing cyclic dipeptides selected from the group consisting of cyclotryptophanyltyrosine, cycloseryltyrosine, cycloprolyltyrosine, cyclotyrosylglycine, cyclotyrosyltyrosine, cyclophenylalanyltyrosine, cycloleucyltyrosine, cyclolysyltyrosine, cyclohistidyltyrosine, cycloalanyltyrosine, cycloglutamyltyrosine, cyclovalyltyrosine, cycloisoleucyltyrosine, cyclothreonyltyrosine, cycloaspartyltyrosine, cycloasparaginyltyrosine, cycloglutaminyltyrosine, cycloarginyltyrosine, and cyclomethionyltyrosine, or a salt thereof in a specified amount. The cyclic dipeptide-containing composition of the present invention has an excellent action of lowering a uric acid level, and the cyclic dipeptide-containing composition is useful in, for example, prevention or treatment of hyperuricemia, gout or the like.

摘要： The invention provides 4-amino-4-oxobutanoyl peptide compounds of Formula I and the pharmaceutically salts and hydrates thereof. The variables R1-R9, R16, R18, R19, n, M, n, M, and Z are defined herein. Certain compounds of Formula I are useful as antiviral agents. Certain 4-amino-4-oxobutanoyl peptide compounds disclosed herein are potent and/or selective inhibitors of viral replication, particularly Hepatitis C virus replication. The invention also provides pharmaceutical compositions containing one or more 4-amino-4-oxobutanoyl peptide compounds and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers. Such pharmaceutical compositions may contain 4-amino-4-oxobutanoyl peptide compound as the only active agent or may contain a combination of 4-amino-4-oxobutanoyl peptide containing peptides compound and one or more other pharmaceutically active agents. The invention also provides methods for treating viral infections, including Hepatitis C infections, in mammals.

摘要： Compounds that affect quorum sensing (QS) in Staphylococcus aureus and related Staphylococcus species (e.g., S. epidermidis). Compounds which modulate one or more of the four AgrC receptors of Staphylococcus species, particularly of Staphylococcus aureus. Modulation includes inhibition or activation of one or more of these four AgrC receptors. These compounds are useful for bacterial interference and are useful for treating bacterial infections, particularly staphylococcal infection. Treatment can include combination of one or more of the compounds of the invention in combination with one or more antibiotics.
