摘要： A method of controlling the acid balance in a high chloride heap leach process tomaximise the copper dissolution in a cure step and to increase overall copper recovery which include an agglomeration stage in which acid and process solutions are combined with the ore prior to stacking to form a heap followed by a cure phase to leach a portion of the copper in the ore in the heap followed by an irrigated leach phase in which the remaining copper minerals are leached and copper is recovered from a pregnant leach solution by a solvent extraction step followed by an electrowinning step wherein the acid concentration in the pregnant leach solution which reports to the solvent extraction step is less than 10 g/L to allow effective copper recovery from the pregnant leach solution in the solvent extraction step.

摘要： A method for leaching one or more target metals from a sulfide ore and/or concentrate containing such, the method comprising the steps of: (a) Exposing the ore and/or concentrate to an aqueous solution of chlorine-based oxidising species in which the hypochlorous acid comprises at least 10 mol % of the chlorine-based oxidising species; (b) Allowing and/or facilitating the oxidation of the target metals by the hypochlorous acid, thereby decreasing the pH such that the predominant chlorine-based oxidising species becomes chlorine; (c) Allowing and/or facilitating the oxidation of the target metals by the chlorine; (d) Allowing and/or facilitating the dissolution of the target metals by the solution species formed during the oxidation by hypochlorous acid and/or chlorine; and (e) Passing the pregnant solution produced thereby to a means for metal recovery.

摘要： In one aspect, the invention provides processes for producing an enriched copper concentrate from a copper-and-nickel-containing ore. Processes of the invention may include an initial step of comminuting the ore, to provide a ground ore comprising copper minerals and nickel minerals. The ground ore may be subjected to a floatation process, to separate the ground ore into distinct fractions, such as first and second concentrates. A first concentrate may for example be made up of copper-enriched-and-nickel-containing solids, while a second concentrate is made up of nickel-enriched-and-copper-containing solids. The floatation process may for example fractionate the ore so that the concentration of copper minerals is higher in the first concentrate than in the ore, and the concentration of the nickel minerals is higher in the second concentrate than the ore.

摘要： The copper sulfide ore is leached in the halide bath without using a special oxidant but with the use of only air. The copper and gold in the copper sulfide ore can be leached at high leaching ratio.The treating steps are as follows. (1) Copper leaching process (CL). The raw material is charged into the first acidic aqueous solution, which contains cupric chloride, ferric chloride, 7 g/L of hydrochloric acid, and sodium chloride. The post-leach liquor contains copper in cuprous state ions and copper in cupric state ions. (2) Solid-Liquid separation step. The resultant solid and liquid of CL step are separated. (3) Air oxidation step (OX). Air is blown into the post solid-liquid separation liquor. The copper in cuprous state ions are oxidized to the copper in cupric state ions. The iron leached in the step (1) is oxidized. Simultaneously, the impurities leached in the step (2) are precipitated. (4) Copper extracting step (CEX). The copper is recovered from the post-liquor of the step (3) (5) Gold recovering step (AL). The residue separated in the step (2) is added to the leach liquor similar to that of the step (1). The steps (1) and (5) are carried out under the atmospheric pressure and at the temperature of boiling point or lower, while blowing air into the leach liquor.
