摘要： The invention relates to a biodegradable halogen-free flame retardants composition used for fire-safety and prevention, that limits and extinguishes fires by means of increased resistance to ignition, slowing down burning rates and the rate of heat, smoke and toxic gas release from polymers with different physical and chemical properties and structure, such as textiles, wooden materials, paper, cardboard, corrugated board, leather, cellular polystyrene, foamed polyurethane, and items made of them. The composition according to the invention contains orthophosphoric acid, urea, triethanolamine, ammonia water, polydimethylsiloxane, surfactant, which may be anionic, cationic, amphoteric, non-ionic or mixtures thereof and water.

摘要： Cellulose and sulfated cellulose fibrous meshes exhibiting robust structural and mechanical integrity in water were fabricated using a combination of electrospinning, thermal-mechanical annealing and chemical modifications. The sulfated fibrous mesh exhibited higher retention capacity for human recombinant bone morphogenetic protein-2 than the cellulose mesh, and the retained proteins remained biologically active for at least 7 days. The sulfated fibrous mesh also more readily supported the attachment and osteogenic differentiation of rat bone marrow stromal cells in the absence of osteogenic growth factors. These properties combined make the sulfated cellulose fibrous mesh a promising bone tissue engineering scaffold.

The film, the sponge or the sponge cloth is impregnated or coated with at least one α-amino acid ester, the α-amino group of which is acylated with a fatty acid, or the corresponding hydrochloride, and the α-amino acid ester is bound covalently, optionally also ionically, to the film, the sponge or the sponge cloth. The acylated α-amino acid ester is preferably N-lauroyl-L-arginine ethyl ester monohydrochloride (LAECI), N-lauroyl-L-arginine methyl ester monohydrochloride (LAMCI) or N-lauroyl-L-lysine ethyl ester hydrochloride (LLECI). The film is preferably in the form of a flexible tube and is provided as casing for foods, especially sausage products.

The front of the shirt is finished so as to be stain-resistant with a chemical water- and oil-repellent finish. To mitigate moisture accumulation on the wearer's skin, the back and sleeves are treated with an absorbency-enhancing finish, the collar and cuffs having a soil-release finish. In manufacture, the different portions are cut from differently treated sections of a mill run of fabric, the sections being processed under constant conditions so that the different sections have consistent shrinkage properties and colours.

The carbon fiber sizing agent of the present invention has satisfactory solubility in water over a wide pH range, and is able to impart to carbon fibers adequate convergence for forming stable chopped carbon fibers, superior workability and satisfactory uniform tow dispersibility in water over a wide pH range. Since a fabric of the present invention demonstrates affinity to water over a wide pH range, it is suitable for applications such as immersing said fabric in an aqueous matrix in order to impregnate the fabric with that matrix.

摘要： A binder is applied to particles which are then combined with fibers to bind the particles to the fibers. The particles have functional sites for forming a hydrogen bond or a coordinate covalent bond. The fibers have hydrogen bonding functional sites. The binder comprises binder molecules, the binder molecules having at least one functional group that is capable of forming a hydrogen bond or a coordinate covalent bond with the particles, and at least one functional group that is capable of forming a hydrogen bond with the fibers. A substantial portion of the particles that are adhered to the fibers may be adhered in particulate form by hydrogen bonds or coordinate covalent bonds to the binder, and the binder in turn may be adhered to the fibers by hydrogen bonds. Fibers containing particles bound by this method are easily densified.
