摘要： The present disclosure relates to a device for preventing access to a conduit. The device comprises top and bottom compression plates and a compressible member between the compression plates. A bolt has a first end mounted to the bottom compression plate and a shaft passing through openings of the compressible member and of the top compression plate. The bolt has a head proximate its second end. The head of the bolt extends beyond a major diameter of the threaded shaft. At least a portion of the shaft is a threaded shaft. The head of the bolt prevents a nut mounted on the threaded shaft between the head and the top compression plate from being dismounted from the device. A fluid passage may extend in the compressible member between the top and bottom compression plates to allow a fluid to bypass the device.

摘要： A bypass valve is for support between hot and cold water lines that connect to respective hot and cold fixtures. The bypass valve includes a valve body having an internal chamber, a hot water inlet port, a hot water outlet port and a discharge port; a bi-metal spring; a support member for mounting the bi-metal spring within the internal chamber of the valve body; and a shuttle mounted to the bi-metal spring and constructed and arranged to mate with the discharge port in a closed position of the bi-metal spring. The bi-metal spring assumes an open position to disengage from the discharge port at a predetermined water temperature to enable the hot water to discharge through the discharge port to the cold water line.

The compressible sleeve member may extend outwardly from a longitudinal axis of the inner tube member toward the pipe.

The method further entails grasping the sprinkler head through the hose without breaching the sidewall of the hose, detaching the sprinkler head from the pipe, and releasing the sprinkler head to allow the sprinkler head and any residual water in the pipe to fall into and be contained by a lower portion of the hose.
