    • A coiled roll container including a base having opposed one and other sides and an outlet slot through which an edge of the coil roll extends. A pair of elastic cords each having opposed one and other ends is provided with the one end fixed at one side of the base and the other end releasably attached to the other side of the base. The elastic cords are for looping over the coiled roll to secure the coiled roll in place. The container also includes a cord locking mechanism at the other side of the base for receiving and securing the elastic cords about the coil roll.

    • A step flashing bending device comprises a supporting a lower press block and an upper press block thereon for movement relative to one another for bending blank metal sheets into step flashing therebetween. The press blocks have working surfaces which are elongate in a longitudinal direction extending at a downward inclination from a top end to a bottom end thereof. The frame and the press blocks are open at the bottom end such that the working surfaces are arranged to automatically release the step flashing from the frame between the bottom ends of the upper and lower press blocks under force of gravity when the press blocks are separated into an open position.

    • There are several advantages to installing roof insulation in industrial and commercial buildings from above, rather than from below after the roof is sealed. A reinforced facing sheet is used that can be rolled out between the purlins that support the steel roofing. This reinforced facing material is located at the bottom of an insulation system and is used to support the insulation from below. The reinforced facing sheet must be anchored to reduce pillowing of the insulation and provide a neat appearance to the insulation job. The anchoring system for the reinforced facing material is made up of a metal angle that is firmly affixed to the top of a rafter between purlins. The reinforced facing material is, thus, sandwiched between the angle and the rafter top, and securely anchored, there. A channel-shaped lower support member, usually vinyl, is located beneath the reinforced facing material and the angle is pressed, from above, into the open part of the channel shape as it is situated on top if the rafter. Consequently, the reinforced facing material is also pressed into the lower support member, thus holding the reinforced facing material at the correct elevation.

    • A material transport system for delivering and dispensing a large capacity of materials at a construction site using a plurality of removable carriages, each bearing a roll of material, mounted on a movable frame. The frame comprises a pair of dual powered axles each driving either a set of drive flanged rollers, or a set of conveyors, for moving the system along purlins, or joists, of a building. The flanged rollers are used when dispensing of material to a side wall of the building is desired and the building is roofless, and when dispensing of material to an end wall of the building is desired and the building is roofed. The conveyors, which are removably mounted to the underside of the material transport system, are used for dispensing material to a side wall when the building is roofed, and when dispensing material to an end wall when the building is roofless. In either case, the flanged rollers, or the conveyors, are simultaneously driven by a common pair of dual-powered axles to negotiate the constant or changing elevation of a building's roof structure.
