摘要： A tonneau cover system includes a cover and a pivot mechanism. The cover includes a plurality of panels hingedly coupled together, and is foldable between an extended configuration and a folded configuration. The pivot mechanism includes a first link bar and a second link bar. The first link bar has an upper end pivotally connected to a forward panel and the second link bar has an upper end pivotally connected to the forward panel. With the cover in the folded configuration, the pivot mechanism may move the stack from an initial stack configuration in which the forward panel is in the first plane to a storage stack configuration in which the forward panel of the cover extends upright along a second plane, and to simultaneously move the forward edge of the forward panel rearwardly and above the first plane.

摘要： A method of controlling a sunroof of a parked vehicle is provided. The method includes the steps of: monitoring a state of an engine; monitoring a state of the sunroof; monitoring a state of at least one accessory; initiating a timer when the state of the engine changes to an off state, the state of the sunroof is an open state, and the state of the at least one accessory is an off state; and closing the sunroof a period of time after initiation of the timer. The method may further include sensing for precipitation throughout the period of time, and closing the sunroof upon sensing precipitation regardless of whether the period of time has elapsed. The method may further include sensing for an occupant within the vehicle when the period of time has elapsed or when precipitation is sensed, and foregoing the step of closing the sunroof if an occupant is sensed.

The method includes the steps of: determining an initial position of the movable closure member; initiating movement of the movable closure member; and switching power between a first shunt and a second shunt when the movable closure member is at an intermediate position between the initial position and a final position of the movable closure member. The shunt may be traces on a printed circuit board. Within the method, the initiating step may include switching power to the first shunt when the initial position of the movable closure member is determined to be a closed position, and switching power from the first shunt to the second shunt when the movable closure member is at an intermediate position. The movable closure member may be a side door window, a rear gate window, a power sliding door, a sunroof, or a moon roof.

摘要： One embodiment of the present invention provides a control device for a vehicle opening-closing member, comprising: a drive motor configured to perform closing drive of an opening-closing member provided in a vehicle by rotating in a first direction and perform opening drive of the opening-closing member by rotating in second direction opposite to the first direction; a controller configured to control a start operation of rotation of the drive motor and a direction of the rotation of the drive motor by outputting a control signal for switching connection of a switching portion; and a detector configured to output a signal indicating the direction of the rotation of the drive motor to the controller, the controller determines presence or absence of sticking of the switching portion on the closing drive side, based on the signal from the detector, and when determining that the sticking is present, the controller performs at least one of cut-off of supply of power to the drive motor and output of a control signal for activating a warning device configured to give warning to a user.

The activation is initiated in response to a request from an operator-controlled device. The passive verification also includes verifying a presence of the operator-controlled device indicative of a presence of an operator of a vehicle, transmitting intermittent signals to the operator-controlled device, monitoring response signals received in response to the intermittent signals, and continuing activation of the power-operated vehicle component until the activation is complete so long as the response signals are received responsive to the monitoring.

摘要： A control system for use with a vehicle's dual hinged door assembly is provided, the control system including a door switch, upper and lower door portions, primary and secondary door drive systems and a controller. The upper door portion pivots about a primary axis formed by its juncture with a structural member in the roof while the lower door portion pivots about a secondary axis formed by its juncture with the upper door portion. Primary and secondary drive systems provide independent powered motion of the upper and lower door portions. The controller monitors door switch activation and determines whether activation corresponds to a door open or door closed command; performs preset door opening and closing sequences using the drive systems; and modifies the preset door opening and closing sequences based on data from proximity sensors, pinch sensors, latch sensors, drive system motor speed and the current draw by the drive systems.
