摘要： An exhaust system for a marine exhaust system includes two identical liquid-cooled exhaust manifolds. Each exhaust manifold has an outlet portion adapted to receive and retain a catalytic converter. Liquid cooled first and second risers are secured to the first and second exhaust manifolds. Bypass hoses enable fluid to pass from each exhaust manifold to its coupled riser. At the outlet of each riser, the cooling fluid and exhaust gas mix in a Y-pipe to create a combined flow. An exhaust outlet conduit downstream of the Y-pipe receives the combined flow and discharges the combined flow.

摘要： A duct arrangement for an internal combustion engine comprises an exhaust duct, an inlet duct and a cooling air duct. The exhaust duct is contained within the cooling air duct for substantially its whole length and the cooling air duct is contained within the inlet duct for substantially its whole length, so that in use the cooling air duct provides a barrier to limit heat transfer between gas flowing in the exhaust duct and gas flowing in the inlet duct. The invention avoids the need for separate inlet and exhaust ducts with their attendant disadvantages. The separation of the inlet and exhaust ducts by the cooling air duct allows the inlet air to be kept as cool as possible, as is necessary for efficient engine operation.

In one embodiment, a catalytic converter for treating a flow of exhaust gas comprising a reaction chamber, a heating enclosure enclosing at least a portion of the reaction chamber, and an optional coolant channel encasing the heating enclosure. The reaction chamber can have a first end section through which the exhaust gas flows into the reaction chamber and a second end section from which the exhaust gas exits the reaction chamber. The heating enclosure is configured to contain heated gas along the exterior of the reaction chamber, and the optional coolant channel is configured to contain a flow of coolant around the heating enclosure. The catalytic converter can further include a catalytic element in the reaction chamber.

摘要： The present invention provide a method for purifying exhaust gas in which nitrogen oxides (NOx) gas is removed from a combustion exhaust gas. The method for purifying exhaust gas according to the invention is characterized in that water vapor is further added to raw exhaust gas to be processed to increase the water vapor concentration in the exhaust gas and the resulting moisture-adjusted exhaust gas is introduced into a denitration catalyst layer. The water vapor concentration in the moisture-adjusted exhaust gas is preferably 22.0% by volume or less in the total of the water vapor originally contained in the raw exhaust gas and the added water vapor.
