摘要： The vehicle power device includes: a wheel bearing; and an electric motor including a stator and a rotor. The vehicle power device includes a rotor casing that is a cover member covering the electric motor and a part of the wheel bearing, the part being located on an inboard side with respect to the hub flange, such that a separated space is defined inside the cover member. A seal member configured to prevent entry of moisture from a press-fitting part where a hub bolt is press-fitted into a bolt hole provided in the hub flange is disposed near the press-fitting part. The hub flange is formed with an annular groove coaxial with the hub bolt in an area where a head of the hub bolt comes into contact with an inboard-side surface of the hub flange, and the seal member having a ring shape is disposed in the annular groove.

摘要： A leak patching system includes a container that may contain a fluid. The container is perforated such that the container has a leak. A first magnet is selectively positioned to engage the container. The first magnet magnetically engages the container when the container is comprised of a ferromagnetic material and the first magnet is aligned with the leak. A sealant is applied to the first magnet. The sealant seals the leak when the first magnet is applied to the container. In this way the sealant inhibits the fluid from escaping through the leak. A second magnet is selectively positioned to engage the container when the container is comprised of a non-ferromagnetic material. The first magnet magnetically engages the second magnet to retain each of the first magnet and the second magnet on the container.

摘要： A method of forming gaskets from a sheet of material is disclosed. The method includes cutting one or more elongated strips from the sheet of material, such as by using a spiral cut. The elongated strip is then cut into segments, with the segments being placed in a gasket mold. The segments are placed in the gasket mold so that the ends overlap. Heat and/or pressure are applied to mold together the ends. The resulting gasket has only a single joint that is molded together rather than welded. Additionally, the manner in which the sheet of material is cut helps to maximize the amount of the sheet of material that is used to make gaskets.

A thermal gasket is created that includes one or more free-standing carbon nanotube (CNT) sheets formed of a CNT composition comprising randomly-oriented CNTs and a thermally-conductive resin material. The thermally-conductive resin material is encased within the one or more free-standing CNT sheets and prevented by the one or more CNT sheets from physical contact with an outer side of the thermal gasket.

摘要： A raintight compression connector has a connector body with first and second portions and a bore extending therethrough for connection to a conduit. An upper sealing ring is dimensioned to contact the connector body to make sealing contact with a conduit. The upper sealing ring has first, second and third regions. The first region has a first sloping surface to contact a recess shoulder in the connector body and the third region has a third sloping surface to contact an inner surface of the connector body. Specific slopes for these sloping surfaces are disclosed. The upper sealing ring can also be used in a raintight compression coupler.
