摘要： A safety system for a machine having a danger zone includes an induction coil having one or more turns extending along the periphery of a part of a worker's body as, for example, extending alone the fingers of a glove worn by the worker. A drive circuit applies a time-varying current having an identifiable characteristic such as the frequency of an alternating current. A magnetic field having the characteristic of the time-varying current is induced in an omnidirectional magnetic field sensor mounted adjacent the danger zone. The magnitude of this field is monitored. When the magnitude exceeds a threshold, a warning signal is issued and protective action may be taken, such as stopping or reversing the machine.

The management apparatus includes a management device that manages the part the motion during use of the management apparatus. The management device is configurable between an enabling condition of the motion and a condition of interrupting the motion. The management apparatus may also include a device for measuring at least one biometric value associated with the body of the user while using the management device and/or the apparatus that includes a part in motion. The management device may also include a processing unit operatively connected to the management device and to the measuring device. The processing unit is configured to interrupt the movement of the part in motion when the measured biometric value moves away from reference biometric value.

摘要： A safety system includes safety glasses and an apparatus. The safety glasses include an electronic system having a sensor configured to detect when the safety glasses are worn by a user and a wireless communication device. The apparatus includes a body housing an electrical isolation device and a wireless communication device. The body includes a first end defining a female electrical socket, a second end defining a male electrical plug and a fastening device coupled to the body and configured to move from an open position to a closed position in which an electrical cord that is electrically coupled to the body at one of the first end or the second end is also physically secured to the body by the fastening device. The electrical isolation device is configured to prevent current flow in the line conductor included in the body when the safety glasses are not being worn by the user.

摘要： There is provided a safety method of detecting and signaling presence of a danger related to a danger source, the method comprising providing a base station at the danger source comprising first detectors and second detectors, the base station being adapted to determine an angular position of a target detected by a first detector among the first detectors within a detection zone based on an angular orientation of the first detector known a priori by the base station, and to determine a distance of the target by activating a second detector among the second detectors to measure the distance between the target and the base station in response to the target detection; and providing targets with portable target devices adapted to send signals in response to signals received from the first detectors of the base station. The first detectors are radio frequency transceivers and the second detectors are ultrasound transceiver. There is also provided a safety system for detecting and signaling presence of a target in danger zone.

摘要： In a robot control system, the distance from an operating region of a robot arm to a person who is approaching the region is measured using a laser sensor. Information necessary to acquire a safety skill level that is stored in an RFID tag possessed by the person is acquired using an RFID reader. A controller classifies distances into a short distance, which is a distance within the operating region of the arm, a long distance, which is a distance that exceeds a movable region of the arm, and an intermediate distance, which is a distance between the short distance and the long distance. The motion of the arm is controlled by the controller, depending on the distance (i.e., the long distance, the intermediate distance, or the short distance) and the safety level.
