A vibration device, such as an exciter or resonator, vibrates the outer tank at its natural frequency of vibration, thereby inducing the vibration of the inner tank and a beating effect as a result of the interaction of the vibrations of the two tanks. A vibration detection device, such as an accelerometer, detects the resultant beating effect of the two tanks' induced vibrations. A data processing device, such as a microcontroller, processes the detection data to obtain the liquid volume. A display, wired or wireless data transmission device, or combination thereof, is then used to provide tank or container fill-level information.

摘要： Embodiments of the present invention generally provide methods and systems for managing gas cylinders by using radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology. In one embodiment, each gas cylinder includes a RFID transponder configured to transmit a RFID signal. The RFID signal may include an identifier for the gas cylinder, as well as data such as gas pressure, temperature, flow rate, battery level, etc. The RFID signals are received by RFID receivers, and are transmitted to a server (e.g., via a computer network). In one embodiment, the gas cylinder data received by the server is collected in a database, and thereafter used by a gas cylinder management software application. The gas cylinder management application performs tasks including selectively generating alarms, locating specific gas cylinders, and replenishment of gas supplies.

摘要： Described herein is a portable storage device that stores a hydrogen fuel source. The storage device includes a bladder that contains the hydrogen fuel source and conforms to the volume of the hydrogen fuel source. A housing provides mechanical protection for the bladder. The storage device also includes a connector that interfaces with a mating connector to permit transfer of the fuel source between the bladder and a device that includes the mating connector. The device may be a portable electronics device such as a laptop computer. Refillable hydrogen fuel source storage devices and systems are also described. Hot swappable fuel storage systems described herein allow a portable hydrogen fuel source storage device to be removed from a fuel processor or electronics device it provides the hydrogen fuel source to, without shutting down the receiving device or without compromising hydrogen fuel source provision.
