    • One of the purpose is to obtain a motor drive circuit and an outdoor unit for an air conditioner using the same, which can flexibly support change of a model at a low price and in a small lot without using unnecessary materials, wherein a stress in a soldering part due to self-heating is low, a solder reliability is high, and design constraints are small, while maintaining a low-noise and low-loss power wiring due to lowering inductance. The motor drive circuit according to the present invention, for driving the motor using the converter circuit and the inverter circuit, whereon electronic components making up a converter circuit and an inverter circuit are mounted, which includes a lead frame molded board 100 wherein metal plate leads 37 are molded with a mold resin 36, and a single-sided printed circuit board 31 for a control circuit, and wherein power terminals 30 of the electronic components are connected to the lead frame molded board 100, and control wiring terminals 39 of the electronic components are connected to the single-sided printed circuit board 31.

Reduction in size of the electric equipment assembly is achieved and simultaneously visibility and serviceability of a highly frequently accessed element are ensured, while employing a structure in which a control circuit board is covered by a protection cover. The electric equipment assembly includes a frame having a substrate attachment plate to which a control circuit board mounted with various electric components is attached and a substrate protection plate which covers the control circuit board. The outer surface of the substrate protection plate has a first auxiliary attachment portion formed thereon, to which a first auxiliary circuit board different from the control circuit board and mounted with a highly frequently accessed control element is attached.

    • An outdoor unit of an air conditioner includes a main body casing, at least one shut-off valve, a shut-off valve cover, a conduit mounting plate, and a shielding portion. The at least one shut-off valve is attached to an outer surface of the main body casing and connected to a refrigerant pipe. The shut-off valve cover has an opening through which the refrigerant pipe passes. The shut-off valve cover covers the shut-off valve. The conduit mounting plate is attached at a position on the outer surface of the main body casing in an interior space in the shut-off valve cover. The shielding portion is disposed around the conduit mounting plate. The shielding portion prevents an intruding object that intrudes into the shut-off valve cover through the opening from contacting an electric wire extending out from a conduit mounted to the conduit mounting plate.

    • An outdoor unit of an air conditioner which is partitioned into a fan chamber disposed with a fan and a machine chamber other than the fan chamber and in which a heat-emitting part is disposed includes a casing and a impermeable plate. The casing is disposed inside the fan chamber, is disposed with openings, and houses inside the heat-emitting part. The impermeable plate employs a structure where the impermeable plate is disposed in the casing between a position where the openings are disposed and a position where the heat-emitting part is housed, and through which it is more difficult for water to pass than air. Thus, the outdoor unit of the air conditioner is configured to improve the effect of cooling a heat-emitting part while preventing water from coming into contact with the heat-emitting part.
