摘要： A mounting assembly for mounting a solar panel to a surface includes a mounting base. The mounting base supports a fastener. A module mount has a module mount sidewall supporting the fastener. The module mount is movable with respect to the fastener when the fastener is received through the module mount opening. A first distance between a bottom surface of the module mount and a top surface of the mounting base is adjustable. A mounting clamp has a mounting clamp sidewall defining a mounting clamp opening through which the fastener is received. The mounting clamp is movable with respect to the fastener when the fastener is received through the mounting clamp opening such that a second distance between a bottom surface of the mounting clamp and a top surface of the module mount is adjustable. The solar panel is mounted between the mounting clamp and the module mount.

摘要： A solar panel support system comprising a plurality of solar panels supportingly engaged with and connected to ledges of U-shaped weighted support pans of different heights. The ledges are perforated with at least two threaded apertures wherein edges of adjacent slightly spaced apart solar panels supported on a ledge of a support pan are spanned by an apertured hold down element. One of the threaded apertures is accessible, through a spacing between the slightly spaced apart solar panels, to a bolt which passes through the hold down element and into threaded engagement with the one of the threaded apertures with hold down engagement of the adjacent panels to a ledge of the pan being effected with the threaded engagement of the bolt and the threaded aperture.

The mounting post includes opposing parallel sidewalls, a third sidewall extending between, and a fourth sidewall extending between the opposing sidewalls, and opposing and in parallel to the third sidewall. The fourth sidewall includes a longitudinal extending slot with coaxial mounting through holes in the first and second sidewalls at a distal end. A plurality of north-south beams are each mounted on the distal end of an associated one of the posts. Each of the north-south beams comprises a web and first and second flanges extending from the first web. The first and second flanges include first coaxial beam mounting through holes, and include second flanges and second coaxial beam mounting through holes. The first coaxial beam mounting through holes are located closer to the north end than the second coaxial beam mounting through holes, where for each of the north-south beams the web is placed over the distal end of the associated mounting post such that the first coaxial mounting through holes coaxially align with the coaxial beam mounting through holes. A fastener extends through the first coaxial mounting through holes and the coaxial beam mounting through holes to fasten the north-south beam to its associated mounting post.

The mounting system comprises photovoltaic panel frames in which the photovoltaic panels are mounted, panel support rails, and mounting brackets or cross beams for supporting the panel support rails.
