摘要： The driving support device executes self-position estimation of an own vehicle by odometry. In the case where landmarks around the own vehicle are detected, the driving support device corrects the self-position and creates an environment map. Next, the driving support device estimates the correction accuracy of the estimated self-position. In the case where the correction accuracy is high, the driving support device selects a first operating mode of driving support. In the case where the correction accuracy is low and the accuracy of odometry is also low, the driving support device selects a second operating mode of driving support. The second operating mode is a mode in which the degree of driving support is lower than that in the first operating mode.

摘要： Methods of calibrating strapdown heading sensors and strapdown heading sensors are provided. The methods include compensating raw sensor data generated by sensors of an uncalibrated strapdown heading sensor to compensate for errors in an instrument frame of the strapdown heading sensor. The strapdown heading sensor is put in a target apparatus and output data is compensated to compensate for errors in an apparatus frame relative to the instrument frame. The strapdown heading sensors include a housing and a compass module having a first sensor configured to detect a magnetic field of the Earth and a second sensor configured to detect a gravitational force of the Earth. The first sensor and the second sensor are each passively isolated from bending and/or flexing of the housing such that an alignment between the first sensor and the second sensor is not disturbed due to the bending and/or flexing.

摘要： Sensor data is received from an inertial measurement unit on a vehicle. An observed attitude and an observed attitude rate of the vehicle are determined based on the sensor data. Using a model associated with a vehicle failure mode, an expected attitude and an expected attitude rate of the vehicle are determined. A malfunctioning rotor is determined based on the observed attitude, the observed attitude rate, the expected attitude, and the expected attitude rate. In response to identifying the malfunctioning rotor, a responsive action is performed, including by updating a geometry matrix so that at least one non-malfunctioning rotor in the plurality of rotors compensates for the malfunctioning rotor.

The computing device is configured to execute instructions stored in a memory to: calculate a first path geometry relating to a first vehicle traveling in a first lane; calculate a second path geometry relating to a second vehicle traveling in a second lane different from the first lane; evaluate coextensive portions of the first path geometry and the second path geometry for parallelism; if the coextensive portions of the first path geometry and the second path geometry evaluated for parallelism are not parallel, determine that one of the first vehicle and the second vehicle is executing a lane departure; and operate a vehicle configured for autonomous operation responsive to the determination that one of the first vehicle and the second vehicle is executing a lane departure.

摘要： A system includes a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) module coupled with a wheel on a vehicle and a vehicle navigation system of the vehicle. A method entails determining a movement signal at the TPMS module and receiving the movement signal at the vehicle navigation system. The vehicle navigation system includes an inertial sensor system configured to supply motion signals indicative of motion of the vehicle and the vehicle navigation system determines output data in response to the motion signals. The vehicle navigation system output data is calibrated at the vehicle navigation system by utilizing movement signals from the TPMS module to remove an error component from the vehicle navigation system output data. Thus, calibration can be performed in lieu of or in addition to utilizing signals from satellites, which may not be available at all times.

摘要： An electronic directional indicator includes a microcontroller in electronic communication with an electronic compass, an electronic motion-detecting module and at least one light source that is controllably illuminable. A battery life of the electronic directional indicator is managed by monitoring the electronic motion-detecting module for motion within pre-defined time periods and reducing power to electronic components accordingly. The electronic directional indicator can be placed on the face shield portion of a self-contained breathing apparatus face mask to provide a constant source of orientation for fire-fighters in reduced- or zero-visibility environments.

摘要： To accurately calculate an attached angle of an accelerometer and accurately correct an acceleration that is obtained from the accelerometer: a frequency analyzing module of an acceleration corrector divides a sensor coordinate system acceleration into a bias frequency component, a gravity frequency component, a movement acceleration frequency component, and a noise frequency component, through a wavelet transform. The frequency analyzing module outputs a sum component of the gravity frequency component and the movement acceleration frequency component to an attached angle estimating module and a correcting operation module. The attached angle estimating module estimation-calculates the attached angle of an accelerometer and outputs it to the correcting operation module. The correcting operation module corrects the acceleration, which is including of the sum component of the gravity frequency component and the movement acceleration frequency component, based on the estimation-calculated attached angle to calculate a movable body coordinate system acceleration.

The signal processing LSI chip C2 calculates an angle by sampling a signal obtained from the angular rate detection element chip C1 at a discrete time synchronized with a drive frequency of the angular rate detection element chip C1.
