    • A method for manufacturing a terminal includes: an electrically conductive member that has electrical connections, which are respectively formed at end portions of the electrically conductive member, wherein the electrical connections are respectively connectable with a lead wire and a terminal of a Hall IC; and a seal film that is formed in a surface of an intermediate portion of the electrically conductive member. In the method for manufacturing, end portions of a planar rod having a rectangular cross section are respectively used as the electrical connections, and an intermediate portion of the planar rod is processed such that corners of the rectangular cross section are rounded. Thereafter, a liquid seal agent is coated on the intermediate portion. Furthermore, the coated liquid seal agent is solidified to form a seal film.

    • A liquid level detector may include a float; an arm attached to the float and configured to convert a linear motion of the float in an up-and-down direction to a rotary motion; a sensor configured to detect the rotary motion; and a supporting member supporting the arm to be rotatable relative to the sensor. The supporting member may include: a body fixed to the sensor; a holder rotatably attached to the body; and a cover arranged on an opposite side from the body with the holder intervened in between, and covering the holder from the opposite side. The arm may be supported by the supporting member between the holder and the cover.

    • A level gauge for determining the level of a liquid in a vessel includes lenticular lens assembly allowing a plurality of level indicator flags enclosed therein to be viewed from a wide angle. The indicator flags have an elongated body manufactured from a sheet of material, and form a central pocket for retaining a magnet, and pins on either end for mounting within a frame. A mounting frame positions the lens assembly whereby an open channel is formed between the lens assembly and a back plate. The mounting frame is mounted to the vessel using spacers forming an open gap between the mounting frame and vessel. The open channel and gap minimize the transfer of heat from the vessel to the level gauge. The passage of a float with a magnet on the liquid in the vessel rotates the flags.
