摘要： Systems, methods, and apparatus are provided for monitoring and improving one or more acoustic parameters in single- and multi-zone habitable environments. The acoustic monitoring system includes a built structure, a central control circuit, an acoustic control system, an environment database, an electronic user device, and acoustic sensor arrays which are installed within the built structure. To facilitate the sensor installation process, the built structure may be delineated into one or more zones. The central control circuit may be configured to instruct the installation of acoustic sensor arrays in particular zones within the built structure to obtain improved or even optimal or near optimal acoustic sensor array placement.

摘要： Provided are a de-reverberation control method and apparatus for a device equipped with a microphone. The method includes: reverberation parameters which indicate, at respective moments, reverberation levels of a room environment where the device is located are acquired from an audio signal played by the device; and a de-reverberation mode adopted by the device is dynamically adjusted according to the reverberation levels indicated by the reverberation parameters at different moments and preset correspondences between reverberation levels and de-reverberation modes. By adopting a dynamic de-reverberation mode, the method and the apparatus disclosed herein significantly improve the rate of the recognition of a device for the voice of the user.

摘要： Computerized estimation of an identity of a user of a computing system. The system estimates environment-specific alterations of a received user sound that is received at the computing system. The system estimates whether the received user sounds is from a particular user by use of a corresponding user-dependent audio model. The user-dependent audio model may be stored in a multi-system store accessible such that the method may be performed for a given user across multiple systems and on a system that the user has never before trained to recognize the user. This reduces or even eliminates the need for a user to train a system to recognize the voice of a user, and allows multiple systems to take advantage of previous training performed by the user.

A peak detector (103) detects a set of peaks in the acoustic room response in a frequency interval having an upper frequency of no more than 400 Hz. A store (107) comprises a set of peak profiles with associated room dimension data, and an estimator (105) determines the room dimension estimate from the associated room dimension data and a comparison of the set of peaks to the peak profiles. The estimator may perform the steps of first finding a matching peak profile for the set of peaks from the set of peak profiles; extracting first room dimension data associated with the matching peak profile(s) from the store; and determining the room dimension estimate in response to the first room dimension data. The peak profiles may represent calculated Eigenfrequencies.
