    • A lens assembly structure of half frame spectacle mainly comprises a half frame having at least one lens mounting portion. At least one lens is to be assembled to the corresponding lens mounting portion with its projections fitted into inlay grooves of the lens mounting portion. Two link assembly cavities are respectively provided on both sides of the half frame within which links can be respectively assembled. Each link has a limit hole provided for passing-through of a fastening member. Each temple is pivotally connected to the corresponding link. The lens can be fixed firmly in the half frame and replaced very easily.

    • A hinge for the articulated joining of eyeglass frame temples to their respective end pieces of the front of the frame, without requiring welding of eyelets or of other joining parts to the end pieces of the front and temple. The hinge is constituted by a pair of independent outer eyelets engaged with two tines provided at the hingeing end of the temple, and by a middle eyelet (10) engaged with two tines provided at the two side hingeing end pieces of the front of the eyeglass frame. The middle eyelet includes two coaxial cavities with contoured bottom surfaces that define circular or radial cams, these surfaces rotating and sliding on corresponding and mutually opposed radial cam surfaces of the outer eyelets which, with the rotation of the temples with which they are associated, cause an axial translational movement of those outer eyelets.

    • A modular eyewear apparatus includes a frame member having left and right socket portions each having a generally circular rim defining an interior void, respectively, and being connected by a bridge portion, the left and the right socket portion having a temple connector extending rearwardly from a respective rim. A lens holding member has a pair of adjacent rim sections selectively coupled to the rims of the left and the right socket portions, respectively. The eyewear apparatus includes proximal and distal ends, respectively, each proximal end being selectively coupled to a respective temple connector such that the temple members are interchangeable. The configurations of the selected members themselves enable them to be quickly and efficiently released from an assembly or to be interchangeably arranged into a new assembly as described above.
