摘要： Interchangeably lenses and attachment assemblies for eyewear with removable temples are described. An example attachment assembly for removably magnetically attaching an eyewear temple to a lens may include a magnetic latch having a first latch portion and a second latch portions movably (e.g., pivotably) coupled to the temple. The first and second latch portions may be configured to be positioned on opposite sides of the lens by a carrier. The first and second latch portions may be configured to magnetically attract one another in a magnetic attraction direction. The carrier may be configured to restrict movement of at least one of the first and second latch portions in a second direction opposite the magnetic attraction direction.

摘要： A magnetically mounted connector is used to join a spectacles frame and a temple of a pair of eyeglasses. The spectacles frame has a mounting portion at each lateral end thereof. The magnetically mounted connector includes a connector body, a magnetic holder, and a magnet held in the magnetic holder. The connector body has one end to which the mounting portion of the spectacles frame is connected. The magnetic holder is extended outward from the connector body. When the magnetically mounted connector joins the spectacles frame and the temple, the magnet is situated at an inner side of the mounting portion of the spectacles frame for adhesion of a pair of auxiliary eyeglasses to the pair of eyeglasses.

The glasses frame includes a first end and a second end spaced from the first end in a lateral direction, each of which forms a coupling base extending inward in a longitudinal direction perpendicular to the lateral direction. Each connecting member includes spaced first and second segments, and the first segment is detachably connected to a corresponding coupling base of the glasses frame. Each temple performs upward/downward pivotal rotation relative to the glasses frame according to an axis defined by a pivot which connects the front end of each temple with the second segment of one of the connecting members. The pair of eyeglasses allows each temple to be removed from the glasses frame easily.

In one aspect, a pair of foldable eyeglasses having multiple set of hinges is disclosed. The eyeglasses include a frame surrounding a pair of lenses, and a pair of temples each of which extending from an outer edge of the frame, and the eyeglasses are in an unfolded configuration when the eyeglasses is being worn by a user. The eyeglasses also include a horizontal hinge positioned on each temple for folding the pair of temples horizontally from the unfolded configuration toward the frame into a first folded configuration. The eyeglasses additionally include a vertical hinge positioned on each temple for folding the pair of temples vertically from the first folded configuration toward the frame into a second folded configuration.

The hinge is constituted by a pair of independent outer eyelets engaged with two tines provided at the hingeing end of the temple, and by a middle eyelet (10) engaged with two tines provided at the two side hingeing end pieces of the front of the eyeglass frame. The middle eyelet includes two coaxial cavities with contoured bottom surfaces that define circular or radial cams, these surfaces rotating and sliding on corresponding and mutually opposed radial cam surfaces of the outer eyelets which, with the rotation of the temples with which they are associated, cause an axial translational movement of those outer eyelets.
