摘要： A developing frame has: side walls that support ends of a developing roller shaft; a connecting wall that connects the side walls, the connecting wall being pressed by first and second pressing members; and a handle extending from the connecting wall in a second direction perpendicular to a first direction. The handle is located farther away from the developing roller than the connecting wall is in the second direction. A drum frame has a supporting wall that supports the first and second pressing members. The supporting wall has an opening that is located between the first pressing member and the second pressing member. The opening allows the handle to be exposed when the developing cartridge is mounted on the drum cartridge. The supporting wall overlaps the handle as viewed from the first direction in a state where the handle is exposed through the opening.

摘要： An imaging unit for an electrophotographic image forming device having positional control features for aligning the imaging unit in a supporting frame in the image forming device. The positional control features include on each end wall, first and second bullet noses and a stop arm positioned between the two bullet noses. The first and second bullet noses engage support or datum surfaces provided in corresponding openings in the frame. The stop arm receives a biasing force that rotates the imaging unit into its final operating position. A latching assembly is provided on one end wall to prevent the imaging unit from ejecting from the frame.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes: a main casing; a cartridge; a belt unit; and a fixing unit. The cartridge includes a photosensitive drum. The main casing includes a first side plate and a second side plate, interposing the fixing unit therebetween. The belt unit includes: an endless belt; a first pivot shaft supported at the first side plate; a first arm; a second pivot shaft supported at the second side plate; and a second arm. The belt unit is movable between an internal position where the belt contacts the photosensitive drum and an external position where the belt separates from the photosensitive drum. The first arm is positioned outward of the first side plate and connects the first pivot shaft to the belt unit. The second arm is positioned outward of the second side plate and connects the second pivot shaft to the belt unit.
