摘要： A method forms an image with a reconfigurable array of mirrors. The method includes configuring the array by translating some of the mirrors such that distances of the mirrors of the array from a reference plane have a non-uniform spatial distribution. The method includes illuminating the configured array with a coherent light beam such that part of the light beam is reflected off the array and is projected on a planar viewing screen.

摘要： An electronic holographic display device includes: a beam emitting device; a plurality of polarizing beam splitters; a plurality of spatial light modulators, each of which is disposed with prescribed distances therebetween and modulates a beam vertically made incident from the corresponding polarizing beam splitter; a magnifying optical system; and a reducing optical system. The magnifying optical system includes a first lens array and a second lens array. The reducing optical system includes a third lens array and a fourth lens array. A distance “a” between the spatial light modulator and the first lens is represented by a=(k+2)f0/(k+1), wherein a ratio “k” is a distance between two adjacent spatial light modulators, to a size of the spatial light modulator, and f0 is a focal point distance of the first lens.

The viewing window corresponds to a diffraction order of the spatial frequency spectrum.

摘要： A holographic projection apparatus and a method for magnifying a virtual visibility region, for observing a reconstructed scene with at least one light modulation device and with at least one light source having sufficiently coherent light for generating a wavefront of a scene that is coded in the light modulation device. By means of imaging the wavefront into a viewer plane, it is possible to generate the virtual visibility region for observing the reconstructed scene. The virtual visibility region has at least two virtual viewer windows. In this case, the virtual viewer windows are dimensioned such that the reconstructed scene can always be observed without tracking of the viewer windows upon movement of a viewer in the viewer plane.
