[Class 12 (i)] [Also in Group XVIII] In a self-winding time-piece the weight is carried on an arm pivotally mounted by means of ball-bearings. The weight-carrying arm 4, Fig. 1, is shaped at its pivot to form a raceway for ball-bearings 5 and 6. The second ring for the balls 6 is formed by a washer 9 set in the bridge 1 and the second ring for the balls 5 is formed by a ring 7 carried by a stud 2 on a pivot 3 coaxial with the centre wheel. The bearing pressure is adjustable by a screw 8. The cage 10 for the balls 6 forms the winding member and may be a cam disc or ratchet-wheel. In another embodiment, Fig. 2, one ball-bearing having four race-rings is provided, the two outer rings being formed by the weightcarrying arm 4 and the inner rings by two similar rings 15, 151 mounted on the stud 2 and located by washers 18 and 19. The winding member 11 is carried by the arm 4. In a modification, Fig. 3 (not shown), the winding member is fixed to the arm 4 to form one of the race-rings.

摘要： Computer processor controlled energy harvester system. The system uses a plurality of oscillating weight type energy collectors, each configured to store the energy from changes in the system's ambient motion as stored mechanical energy, often in a compressed spring. The energy collectors are configured to move between a first position where the energy collector stores energy, to a second position where the energy collectors release stored energy to a geared electrical generator shaft, thus producing electrical energy, often stored in a battery. A plurality of processor controlled electronic actuators, usually one per energy collector, control when each energy collector stores and releases energy. The processor can use accelerometer sensors, battery charge sensors, and suitable software and firmware to optimize system function. The system can use the energy for various useful purposes, including sensor monitoring, data acquisition, wireless communications, and the like, and can also receive supplemental power from other sources.

摘要： A double faced watch has a movement driving a first gearing actuating a first hands array cooperating with a first dial and a second dial 31 on its opposed face cooperating with a second hands array 32, 33', 43. An automatic winding mass 19 is pivoted concentrically to the two hands arrays by a bail bearing the internal housing of which is fastened on a sleeve giving passage to an axle 7, 7', carrying one hand of the first hands array. This axle 7, 7' is used as a driver for the driving of the second hands array. A time setting stem 55 is axially slidable between two positions, in one of which its rotation sets one of the hands arrays and in the other of which its rotation sets the other hands array. A tilting member 62 (FIG. 6) ensures that the setting stem 55 slides in the opposite direction from a sliding pinion 47 so that the stem 55 and pinion 47 are alternately in driving relation with one or the other of the drive trains of the two hands arrays.
