摘要： A storage control device includes a processor. The processor is configured to acquire a first size. The processor is configured to calculate, for each of a plurality of storage devices, a total size of first data stored in each of the plurality of storage devices. The first data satisfies a predetermined condition. The processor is configured to select the first data in an ascending order of the total size. A sum of the total size of the selected first data is the first size or less. The processor is configured to copy the selected first data from the plurality of storage devices to a first storage device different from the plurality of storage devices.

摘要： In an approach to managing racks in a MAID system, a first rack of a data center is identified. The data center comprises a plurality of racks. The first rack corresponds to a request. The request is one of (i) a request to change a power status of a storage device of the first rack or (ii) a request to service the first rack. An optimal placement of the plurality of racks is calculated to satisfy a condition of the request. One or more of the racks are moved from a first location to a second location, based on the calculated optimal placement of the one or more racks.

In one embodiment, a memory system is provided comprising at least one memory die, a sensor configured to sense an average amount of power consumed by the memory system over a time period, and a controller. The controller is configured to maintain a token bucket that indicates an amount of power currently available for memory operations in the at least one memory die and is further configured to reduce a number of tokens in the token bucket by an amount of power consumed over the time period as indicated by the average amount of power sensed by the sensor over the time period. Other embodiments are disclosed.
