摘要： The present technology pertains to a organization directory hosted by a synchronized content management system. The corporate directory can provide access to user accounts for all members of the organization to all content items in the organization directory on the respective file systems of the members' client devices. Members can reach any content item at the same path as other members relative to the organization directory root on their respective client device. In some embodiments novel access permissions are granted to maintain path consistency.

摘要： The disclosed technology relates to a system configured to compute a difference between a remote tree data structure representing a server state for content items associated with an account on a content management system and a sync tree data structure representing a known synchronization state between the content management system and the computing system. 摘要： The disclosed technology relates to a system configured to identify a set of modifications based on a set of tree data structures including a sync tree, a remote tree, and a local tree. The sync tree represents a known synced state between a server state and a file system state, the remote tree represents the server state, and the local tree represents the file system state. The system is further configured to select a set of unblocked modifications from the set of modifications based on whether each modification has a dependency and execute, based on the set of unblocked modifications, a set of tasks configured to converge the server state and the file system state.

The file storage method includes: receiving a file to be stored; determining a currently stored folder with a lowest storage priority after the storage space of a disk exceeds a preset threshold; and selecting and deleting a file from the determined folder, and storing the file to be stored in the disk. The embodiments of the present application can improve the utilization value of the storage space of the disk and further improve the performances of the video server; since the files with higher priority are retained, when called, these files do not need to be regenerated or obtained from other servers, thereby improving the utilization rate of system resources and also enhancing the experience of a video requested by the user.

摘要： Aspects of this disclosure relate to protecting email data. For example, email protection rules can instruct an email server to route an email to an email protection module. The one or more email rules can identify a group of one or more email addresses. The email protection module can receive an email from the email server that has an email address of the group as an intended receipt. The email protection module can route the email to secondary storage and store the email in secondary storage to create a secondary copy of the email. The secondary copy can be stored inline to persistent memory of secondary storage, according to certain embodiments. Access to the backup copy of the email stored to the persistent memory can be controlled, for example, based on whether a user had permission to access to the email when the email was sent.

摘要： One or more techniques and/or computing devices are provided for data object retention. For example, a data retention policy may specify that files of a volume are to be locked down for a lockdown retention period (e.g., locked into a read only state for 4 months) when such files are not changed within an auto commit time period (e.g., files not changed within 13 hours). Waiting for a data scanner to evaluate files for lockdown may result in files violating the data retention policy until the data scanner evaluates such files. Accordingly, a file may be considered to be in the locked down state (e.g., instantaneous lockdown), such that commands to modify or delete the file are blocked, based upon a difference between a current time of an internal compliance clock and a current value of a data object change field exceeding the auto commit time period.
