摘要： A predictive model can be applied to data representing a history of events for an entity to compute a value indicative of an outcome related to a reference time for that entity. The effect of an event from an entity's history of events on an outcome for the entity at a reference time can vary based on the type of event and relative time of that event with respect to the reference time. The effect of an event from an entity's history of events on an outcome for the entity also can vary due to other characteristics of the entity in combination with the event. These effects are captured as weights. For an entity, functions of sets of events from the history of events are computed for the entity and a set of weights for events. The computed results are inputs to the predictive model.

The method includes querying a primary neural network with at least one test query, wherein the at least one test query includes a real test result derived from executing the at least one training query on a data set; receiving from the primary neural network a predicted test result in response to the at least one test query; sending, based on the predicted test result, a model of a primary neural network to a local machine; and storing the model of a local neural network of the local machine, wherein the local neural network is configured to generate a prediction in response to a user query received by the local machine.

摘要： A computer-implemented method for efficiently estimating the number of unique elements in a collection of elements comprises generating, via hash logic, hash values associated with the elements. The hash values specify bit positions within an array of bits. Hash values output from the hash logic conform to a geometric distribution such that bit positions of the array of bits corresponding to lower orders bits are more likely to be generated than bit positions corresponding to higher-order bits. Bits of the array of bits corresponding to the bit positions are set. The number of bits of the array of bits that are set is counted. Estimation logic estimates the number of unique elements of the collection of elements as a function of the number of bits of the array of bits that are set.
