    • An electronic device includes a housing and an electronic card connector. The housing includes a supporting wall and a number of peripheral sidewalls. The supporting wall and the number of peripheral sidewalls define an accommodating space. The peripheral sidewall defines a first through hole and a second through hole. The electronic card connector includes a tray being received in the accommodating space, a first geared rack being received in the second through hole, a cylinder gear being rotatably coupled to the supporting wall and meshed with the first geared rack, and a second geared rack being coupled to the supporting wall and meshed with the cylinder. The tray is supported by the second geared rack. The cylinder gear and the second geared rack can be both driven to move to eject the tray ejected from the accommodating space.

    • An electronic device includes a housing and an electronic card connector fixed on the housing. The electronic card connector includes a tray and a fixing member. The tray includes a main body defining a card slot. The tray further includes two elastic arms protruding from two sidewalls of the tray respectively. The elastic arms include protrusions. The fixing member includes two notches corresponding to the two protrusions. When the main body receives in the second accommodating space, each of the two protrusions receives in one of the two notches respectively to engage the tray with the fixing member. When a pressure applied on the two elastic arms to enable the two protrusions to disengage from the two notches, the tray is disengaged from the fixing member.

The tray mechanism further includes a lever positioned on the planar surface of the tray bed and a hinge mechanism that pivotally connects the lever to the planar surface of the tray bed. A method for operating the tray mechanism includes a convex side of the lever rolling against the device housing as the lever rotates to eject the tray bed pivotally connected to lever from the device housing.
