摘要： An image processing apparatus comprises: an accepting portion that accepts a request for a temporary use permission to use a function of the image processing apparatus from a second portable terminal apparatus in place of a first portable terminal apparatus having a proper use permission to use the function, an obtaining portion that obtains application information of an application installed on the second portable terminal apparatus; a determining portion that determines a scope of the temporary use permission with reference to reference data stored on a management apparatus and on the basis of the application information; a judgment portion that judges whether or not the requested process falls within the determined scope when a request for a process requiring the function is received from or transferred to the second portable terminal apparatus; and an executor portion that executes the requested process if it falls within the determined scope.

When an error occurs in the other print control device, the controller receives first printed-page information from the other print control device, determines a restart page from the first printed-page information received from the other print control device and the second printed-page information acquired by the acquisition unit, and controls the printing device on behalf of the other print control device so as to restart the print processing based on the print data from the restart page.

摘要： A print release environment includes a client computing device, an imaging device and an active directory. The client stores an imaging job on a local hard disk. The client registers itself with the active directory indicating an existence of the job. Upon a user logging in to the imaging device to retrieve an imaged media corresponding to the imaging job, the imaging device queries the active directory for possible clients. The imaging device contacts client(s) and retrieves a list of jobs available to the user. The user selects their job and the client releases it direct to the imaging device. The client deletes the imaging job upon successful imaging of the media and undoes its registration with the active directory, unless further imaging jobs exist for the user. Encryption techniques are contemplated to secure the data of the imaging job end-to-end from the client to the imaging device.

摘要： A user inputs information, such as a user identification (ID), on a printer by using an operation unit included in the printer. The printer inputs a print request for printing an intermediate print job corresponding to the user ID to the printer driver of an application server. When the request is received from the printer, a print request receiving function of the printer driver starts a series of print processing. The printer driver extracts an intermediate print job corresponding to a target user ID stored on a print job storage memory. A print setting final determination function finally determines print setting information to the extracted intermediate print job.
