摘要： Various embodiments include a system that can comprise one or more processing modules and/or one or more non-transitory memory storage modules storing computing instructions on the one or more processing modules. The computing instructions can be configured to perform the acts of receiving an ordered list from a user via a software application on a mobile device of the user, wherein the software can comprise a bar code scanner, wherein the ordered list can comprise a first set of records describing a first set of physical items; receiving first data obtained from the barcode scanner, wherein the first data can comprise a first distinct record describing a first distinct physical item within the first set of physical items; querying a physical item database, wherein the physical item database can comprise a second distinct record describing the location of the first distinct physical item and a second set of records describing locations of the first set of physical items; calculating a first optimized route from the location of the first distinct physical item to a first series of distinct physical items using at least a portion of the second set of records and the second distinct record, wherein the first series of distinct physical items can comprise at least a portion of the first set of physical items; creating a first reordered list from the first series of distinct physical items using the first optimized route; and presenting the first optimized route and the first reordered list to the user via a graphic user interface on the software application on the mobile device of the user. The method and system include loading a product onto a unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), launching the UAV and navigating the UAV to a delivery location, communicating to a portable device of a consumer at the delivery location the product loaded into the UAV, preventing interception of the package by a third party, and delivering the product to the consumer after the consumer purchases the product with the portable device. The product is selected based on a prediction of high demand products for the delivery location. The delivery of the product comprises sensing the consumer is in the receiving position and then lowering the product to the consumer.

摘要： In an embodiment, a method includes receiving, at an autonomous vehicle, reported data regarding an object in proximity to the autonomous vehicle. The data is collected by a collecting device external to the autonomous vehicle, and is relayed to the autonomous vehicle via a server. The reported data includes a current location, type, or predicted location of the object. The method further includes determining whether the reported data of the object matches an object in an object list determined by on-board sensors of the autonomous vehicle. If the determination finds a found object in the object list, the method correlates the reported data of the object to the found object in the object list. Otherwise, the method adds the reported data of the object to an object list of objects detected by sensor from on-board sensors of the autonomous vehicle. In embodiments, the collecting device is a mobile device.

摘要： An interactive digital map of a geographic area is provided via a user interface. A request to obtain travel directions to a destination is received via the user interface. Respective indications of candidate rides for at least a portion of a route to the destination are requested from third-party providers, each of the indications including a pick-up location, a price estimate, and pick-up time. The requested indications of the candidate rides are received. A ranking of the candidate rides is determined using at least one of the corresponding pick-up locations, the price estimates, or the pick-up times, and a listing of the candidate rides is provided via the user interface in accordance with the determined ranking. In response to one of the candidate rides being selected via the user interface, a request for the selected ride is transmitted to the corresponding third-party provider.

The control system is configured to receive a plurality of vehicle location points and a current vehicle state, wherein the current vehicle state comprises a current vehicle location, generate a planned vehicle path through one or more of the plurality of vehicle location points, generate a correction path from the current vehicle location to a point along the planned vehicle path ahead of the current vehicle location along a direction of travel, generate a blended path by blending the planned vehicle path and the correction path based at least in part on an assigned weight, wherein the assigned weight is based at least in part on a heading error, a distance between the current vehicle location and the planned path, or a combination thereof, and guide the off-road vehicle along the blended path.

摘要： The technology relates to actively looking for an assigned passenger prior to a vehicle reaching a pickup location. For instance, information identifying the pickup location and client device information for authenticating the assigned passenger is received. Sensor data is received from a perception system of the vehicle identifying objects in an environment of the vehicle. When the vehicle is within a predetermined distance of the pickup location, authenticating a client device using the client device information is attempted. When the client device has been authenticated, the sensor data is used to determine whether a pedestrian is within a first threshold distance of the vehicle. When a pedestrian is determined to be within the first threshold distance of the vehicle, the vehicle is stopped prior to reaching the pickup location, to wait for the pedestrian within the first threshold distance of the vehicle to enter the vehicle.
