摘要： A detection is made that a first entity residing on a mobile device is requesting authentication. The first entity resides in a first portion of the mobile device. A determination is made that the mobile device is unable to establish network connections with a remote authentication server that is configured to authenticate the first entity. A local authentication process is performed in response to the determination that the mobile device is unable to establish network connections with the remote authentication server. Without accessing the remote authentication server, the local authentication process is performed by a second entity that resides in a second portion of the mobile device. The second portion has a greater level of security than the first portion.

摘要： Computer systems, methods, and computer readable media for facilitating a secure transaction are provided in which a client application is executed on a client computer. The client application initiates a request to a first domain comprising (i) a credential for the client application, (ii) a transaction identifier that uniquely identifies the request, and (iii) optionally, an identification of a user of the client application. Responsive to this request, the client receives a validated transaction module from the first domain. The client application loads the validated transaction module into a separate domain security sandbox that is segregated from memory space in which the client application is run. The validated transaction module conducts a validated transaction between the second domain and the validated transaction module. Separately, through the client application, a determination is made as to whether the transaction is complete by querying the first domain.

摘要： A payment module with one or more processors, memory, and a first communication capability is coupled with a payment accepting unit (e.g., an automatic retailing machine for dispensing goods and/or services). The payment module obtains a notification indicating completion of a transaction, and an amount thereof, performed by user of a device at the payment accepting unit. In response to receiving the notification, the payment module generates and stores transaction information based on the notification; and sends the transaction information to the device via the first communication capability (e.g., BLE). After sending the transaction information to the device, the payment module: deletes the stored transaction information if acknowledgement information is received from the device within a predetermined time period; and maintains the stored transaction information if the acknowledgement information is not received from the device within the predetermined time period.
