摘要： Exemplary embodiments are disclosed herein for processing one or more sheets of sheet material in a deposit include various systems and processes. The systems and processes include receiving a sheet in a sheet-accepting device. Further, the systems and processes include detecting, by a sensor, characteristic information about the sheet. The characteristic information indicates whether the sheet is anomalous. The systems and processes also include encoding, by an encoding device, the sheet based on the characteristic information detected by the sensor. The encoding includes encoding the sheet with anomaly information when the characteristic information indicates that the sheet is anomalous. The anomaly information identifies a reason for indicating that the sheet is anomalous. Moreover, the systems and processes include disposing the encoded sheet in a container for further processing when the characteristic information indicates that the sheet is anomalous.

摘要： An optical code scanner is presented for assembling an image of a document from multiple images captured by the optical code scanner. A document is presented to the optical code scanner which captures multiple images where each image includes only a portion of the document. Once every part of the document has been captured in at least one image, the optical code scanner processes the images to generate a single image of the entire document.

The removal and/or the supplying of the cash box are detected by means of a sensor. After removal of a cash box from the device the total value of all notes of value received in the cash box is read out from the memory region of a memory element and is subtracted from a value stored in an account memory element assigned to the security transport company. After insertion of a cash box the total value is added to the value of the account memory element.

Upon receipt of a command for dispensing a banknote(s) of one or more denominations, the number of dispensing being designated by denomination, the control unit (30) is configured to compare the designated-number with the stored-number recorded in the memory unit (32) corresponding to the denomination designated in the dispensing command, and to control the reception unit (11) and the transport unit (10) such that, if the stored-number is smaller than the designated-number, a banknote is fed out from the reception unit (11) and is recognized by the recognition unit (13), and that a banknote of a designated denomination is transported to the dispensing unit (12), in order that the number of banknotes of the designated denomination that have been transported to the dispensing unit matches the designated-number.

Upon receiving an indication of a malfunction or other service issue, the cash recycler will automatically conduct an inventory verification of the cash storage portion of the cash recycler upon completion of the repair of the malfunction or service issue. In some arrangements, the automatic inventory verification will occur at regularly scheduled intervals. In still other arrangements, an upcoming transport of funds will initiate a transfer of funds from a storage region to a transport region. The cash recycler will automatically rebalance funds in the storage region upon completion of the transfer.
