摘要： An apparatus includes a display, a memory, a light sensor array and a light source array. The light source array emits light to display an image on the display. A controller is configured to receive a sensor output from each light sensor in the light sensor array. An ambient-light illuminance difference between a first illuminance of a first ambient light externally directed onto a first region of the displayed image of the display and a second illuminance of a second ambient light externally directed respectively onto a second region of the displayed image of the display is computed. Light source controls of light sources of the light source array are varied to change a luminous emittance of the light source array within the at least one second region of the displayed image so as to reduce a luminance difference between the first region and the second region of the displayed image.

摘要： An ambient illumination intensity determining method and apparatus, and a storage medium are provided, and relate to the field of display technologies. In the method, a terminal device (20) includes a display (21, 304) and an ambient light sensor (12, 303), an ambient light detection area (211) is disposed in the display (21, 304), and the ambient light sensor (12, 303) is disposed in a coverage area of the ambient light detection area (211). When the display (21, 304) is turned on and an integration period of the ambient light sensor (12, 303) starts, a color value of a target color in the ambient light detection area (211) is determined; the ambient light detection area (211) is controlled to display the target color within the integration period; a first ambient illumination intensity is detected by the ambient light sensor (12, 303); a target impact value of both a brightness value of the display (21, 304) and the color value of the target color on the first ambient illumination intensity is determined; and the first ambient illumination intensity is corrected based on the target impact value to obtain a second ambient illumination intensity. In this way, the target color has a single color value, a target impact value calculation method is simple with high accuracy, and the obtained second ambient illumination intensity tends to be closer to a real ambient illumination intensity.

摘要： A terminal device with an ambient light detection function and an ambient light detection method are provided. The terminal device includes at least two photosensitive units arranged at a short distance, and the at least two photosensitive units are located in a slit area formed by a middle frame and a side wall of a display screen. Transparent black ink and opaque ink are respectively deployed in vertical projection areas of photosensitive areas of the at least two photosensitive units on cover glass, resulting in asymmetry in external ambient light energy sensed by the at least two photosensitive units. A processor performs differential calculation based on light energy sensed by the two photosensitive units by using a particular method, removes the impact of the light leakage generated by the display screen, and obtains brightness of peripheral real ambient light, to adjust brightness of the display screen.

摘要： An information handling system includes a display device and a processor. The display device outputs pixels associated with a text font. The processor converts red, green, blue (RGB) pixels to image perspective transformation (IPT) pixels. The processor further sharpens one or more of the IPT pixels that do not have color. The sharpening of the one or more of the IPT pixels identifies edges of the text font and defines widths of the text font. The processor corrects edge overshoot and edge undershoot created by a digital filter. The edge overshoot and the edge undershoot are corrected for each IPT pixel associated with the text edges. The processor also reduces noise enhancement in the sharpened IPT pixels, retains grey text portions of each of the sharpened IPT pixels, and converts the IPT pixels to new RGB pixels. The processor outputs the new RGB pixels to the display device.

The method includes determining first and second light superposition values that are associated with ambient light from a physical environment. The first light superposition value quantifies the ambient light incident on a first region of the see-through display. The second light superposition value quantifies the ambient light incident on a second region of the see-through display. The method includes modifying a first pixel value of image data, via a color correction function, in order to generate a corresponding first pixel value of display data. The color correction function is based on a combination of the first and second light superposition values. The method includes displaying the corresponding first pixel value of the display data on the see-through display.

摘要： A method for detecting ambient light under a display screen includes: acquiring first sampling data of a sensor under a first sampling parameter; acquiring a current main frequency of the display screen; determining whether the first sampling data is valid according to the current main frequency and a standard main frequency of the display screen; adjusting the first sampling parameter as a second sampling parameter according to the current main frequency and the standard main frequency, when the first sampling data is invalid; acquiring second sampling data of the sensor under the second sampling parameter; and determining intensity of the ambient light according to the second sampling data. The method of the present application can effectively avoid an ambient light detection error caused by the offset of the main frequency of the display screen or the sensor, and improve accuracy of the ambient light detection.
