摘要： An electronic device and its operating method are provided. The electronic device includes a housing including a first surface, a second surface facing the first surface in a spaced apart manner, and a lateral surface surrounding a space between the first surface and the second surface, a display mounted to the housing and including a flat area substantially corresponding to the first surface and a bending area extended from the flat area in a direction of the lateral surface, a filler disposed between the housing and the bending area of the display, at least one electronic component which is installed to the filler and of which one part is exposed to the outside by penetrating at least one region of the bending area of the display, a detection circuit disposed inside the housing and electrically connected to the electronic component to detect an operation of the electronic component, and at least one processor operatively coupled to the detection circuit and the display to provide control to perform a corresponding function of the electronic device on the basis of a provided detection signal.

摘要： A keyswitch includes a base having a pillar, a cap having a rib and movable relative to the base, a sleeve rotatably sleeving the pillar and having first and second top surfaces and convex and concave portions, an elastic member abutting against the sleeve and the base, and a resilient arm abutting against a first or second position on the convex portion with rotation of the sleeve. When the resilient arm abuts against the first position, the rib abuts against the first top surface to prepress the elastic member for generating a first preload. When the cap is pressed for moving the sleeve downward, the resilient arm moves from the first or second position to the concave portion. When the resilient arm abuts against the second position, the rib abuts against the second top surface to prepress the elastic member for generating a second preload larger than the first preload.

摘要： An input device including a housing and a depressible key plate disposed thereon. The key plate includes a front user-accessible portion, a pivot support portion, and a rear portion. A shaft is disposed in the pivot support portion, where the key plate rotates with respect to the shaft. A force sensor is disposed in the housing and in contact with a bottom surface of the front portion of the key plate, and activates in response to receiving a predetermined force by the bottom surface of the front portion of the key plate. The depressible key plate depresses in response to receiving a predetermined depression force on the top surface. A biasing mechanism is disposed in the housing and in contact with the bottom surface of the rear portion of the key plate to provide an upward force tuned to be substantially equal to the predetermined depression force.

摘要： An electronic device has a concealed external electrical connector that may be activated by a pin of a mating connector. When the pin applies a force to an electrically conductive and flexible region of an exterior housing of an electronic device the electrically conductive region deflects inwards coupling to a contact within the electronic device. A bi-directional communications path is then established from the pin of the connector, through the conductive portion of the housing, to the contact and to circuitry within the housing of the electronic device.

摘要： An accessible pedestrian pushbutton station. The station includes an articulating rear mounting structure to facilitate accurate positioning of the station on either a curved or flat surface. Additionally, slots in the rear mounting structure allow for minor positional adjustments during installation. The crossing direction arrow is easily repositioned on the front of the station without disassembling the housing. After removing the screw-mounted arrow, the plunger can be turned clockwise or counter-clockwise using only a flat-head screw driver. The plunger is balanced between oppositely biased springs. The spring-balanced plunger indirectly actuates an offset piezo bender using a flexible spring actuator and a second, offset stem bumper. This protects the piezo bender from direct pressure and potential damage. The station includes an internal speaker and the housing includes bilateral sound vents to project the sound emitted by the speaker. Baffles may be inserted in one or both of the sound vents.

摘要： A power saw tool including a housing, a motor, and a reciprocating shaft. A blade clamp assembly is mounted to the reciprocating shaft and adapted for gripping a saw blade. The blade clamp assembly includes a main body defining a channel for engaging the saw blade. A latch arm is pivotally attached to the main body and rotatable about a pivot axis. A locking catch extends from the latch arm and retains the saw blade within the channel. A latch release extends from the latch arm. An actuator is provided to selectively engage the latch release and permit removal of the saw blade from the blade clamp assembly. The power saw tool may include a speed limiter housed within the handle grip to delimit rearward travel of the trigger switch, thereby restricting the speed of the motor. The power saw tool may also include a rotatable shoe assembly.
