    • A switch includes a switch main body having a movable section displaceable downward by pressure to bring a movable contact into contact with a fixed contact, the movable section being displaced upward to open each contact by a release of pressure; a button section that presses the movable section in response to a downward pressing operation; and a support arm having one end portion supporting the button section. An end of the support arm not coupled to the button section is turnable and held at a location in a support surface arranged vertically. The button section bottom surface is inclined and separated from the movable section when the button section is not pressed. When the button section is pressed and is lowered to a position at which the fixed contact and the movable contact are closed, the bottom surface is in an approximately horizontal state and presses the movable section.

    • A seesaw switch includes a seesaw switch knob, two contacts which extend from the seesaw switch knob, and busbars which contact individually the two contacts. A surface of each of the busbars has a wave shape including end root portions, a middle root portion disposed between the end root portions. Each of the two contacts moves from one of the end root portions to the other of the end root portions by way of the middle root portion to stop in the other of the end root portions while contacting corresponding one of the busbars when one of end portions of the seesaw switch knob is depressed.

    • A cantilevered push button adapted for accepting an input on an electrical or electronic device is disclosed. The button can include an elongated button top component disposed about an exterior surface of an electrical or electronic device such that it is accessible to a user, and having two opposing distal ends associated with separate user inputs. A first fulcrum is located between the first distal end and the midpoint of the elongated button top component, while a second fulcrum is located between the second distal end and the midpoint. A first electrical contact is associated with the first distal end, such that when a user presses on the first distal end, the elongated button top component pivots about the second fulcrum and the first electrical contact is actuated. A second electrical contact is similarly associated with the second distal end and first fulcrum.

    • Disclosed is a cover for an electrical interface. The electrical interface may be a rocker type switch located within a hole in a wall. The cover is sized to cover the hole in the wall and has an aperture therethrough sized to surround the rocker type switch. The cover further comprises a rocker plate sized to overlay the rocker type switch pivotally located within the aperture wherein the rocker plate bears against the rocker type switch so as to transmit motion of the rocker plate to the rocker type switch. The electrical interface may be an electrical receptacle wherein the cover has front and rear surfaces and a hollowed region in the rear surface sized to receive the electrical receptacle therein. The cover further comprises a plurality of apertures located through the cover plate sized and located to correspond to the connector openings.
