    • The present invention discloses an electric contact, comprising a substrate with the surface thereof coated with a nano-diamond film heavily doped with positive trivalent or positive pentavalent elements; the present invention discloses a fabrication method of the above electric contact, comprising the following steps of: (1) fabricating a substrate of the electric contact; (2) performing auxiliary nucleation processing on the electric contact substrate; (3) depositing a nano-diamond film heavily doped with positive trivalent or positive pentavalent elements on the surface of the electric contact substrate. The present invention applies a heavily doped nano-diamond film in an electric contact such that the electric contact has super high heat conductivity, super high frictional wear resistance, high electrical conductivity, high breakdown voltage, high arc ablation resistance and fusion welding resistance, and at the same time, further has an advantage of simple processes, which greatly reduces production cost.

    • An electrical switch element, particularly a relay, is provided with an actuator with a switch contact and a switch mechanism. The switch mechanism translates a driving movement of the actuator into a switching movement of the switch contact so that the switch contact is brought into and out of contact with a mating contact. In order to create a switching movement with a large lift in the case of an actuator which can only execute a driving movement with small lift, the switch mechanism has two swivelling levers connected to each other via the actuator and at least one contact retainer. The contact retainer connects the two swivelling levers in its longitudinal direction with a lever arm larger than the actuator and is configured so it can be deflected transverse to its longitudinal direction.

    • A contact element for making an electric contact to a contact member for enabling an electric current to flow between the contact element and the contact member. The contact element includes a body having at least one contact surface thereof coated with a contact layer to be applied against the contact member. The contact layer includes a nanocomposite film having a matrix and crystallites of nano-size embedded therein. Portions of the matrix separating adjacent the crystallites of the nanocomposite film have a thickness providing the matrix and hence the film with an electrical conductivity determined by a substantially two-dimensional character of the matrix.
