摘要： A high voltage motor operated in-line double break disconnect switch suspended by an electric power line conductor wherein the switch includes a horizontally rotating switch blade, that is suspended by a motor output shaft attached to the midpoint of a blade of the switch blade to balance the blade. A communication system for controlling the motor including a switch mounted radio which may be controlled by another radio located at a distance and powered by a solar charged battery or alternatively controlled by a hand-held controller. The motorized in-line double break disconnect switch may also be arranged in a three phase installation in a two-way or three-way switching arrangement attached to a utility pole or other structure. The communication system controlled motorized in line double break disconnect switch may in addition be arranged in a phase over phase switching arrangement supported by a utility pole or other structure.

The mounting structure includes at least a pair of first bores extending into the flange in a first direction. At least a pair of second bores. A pin is disposed in each of the second bores. Each pin has a threaded pin bore that aligns axially with the associated first bore. A bolt is disposed through a bolt hole in the support structure, into an associated first bore and in threaded engagement with the threaded pin bore of an associated pin so as to secure the tank to the support structure.

摘要： An electric power switch suitable as a capacitor, line and load switch for transmission and distribution voltages includes an external actuator controlled by current transformers (CTs) mounted on live tanks comprising insulators forming dielectric containers that house the contactors of the switch. The CTs are located on the outside of the insulators in the regions of the insulators overlying the internal contactors between the upper and lower high voltage line taps. The actuator and controller may also be located outside the dielectric container, as desired. This configuration minimizes the size of the dielectric container and removes the severe size constraint inherent in design conventional “live tank” switch designs, while also avoiding the need for separate line-mounted CTs. This design also avoids the need for a separate grounded “dead tank” to house the CTs, which are more conveniently located in the outside of the insulators.

The system allows for translation of the circuit breaker with respect to a support base and interfacing mechanisms, such as those that serve to switch the circuit breaker between its operative states. Adjustment is afforded by an adjustment plate fitted to the support base and that moves with the circuit breaker. Slots through the support base allow for movement of the plate and circuit breaker. A threaded member allows for continuous movement of the plate and circuit breaker for accurate positioning.
