摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide an organic electroluminescence panel including a light-transmissive organic electroluminescence element, having a wide light-emitting area constituted by a plurality of divided light-emitting areas, and having improved luminance uniformity and stability. An organic electroluminescence panel of the present invention includes an organic electroluminescence element having a light transmittance of 50% or more at a wavelength of 550 nm during non-emission of light, and is characterized in that, in the organic electroluminescence element, a light-emitting area constituted by at least a positive electrode, an organic functional layer unit, and a negative electrode is divided into a plurality of parts on a substrate, both the positive electrode and the negative electrode constituting the light-emitting area are constituted by light-transmissive electrodes, and a positive electrode constituting one of the divided light-emitting areas is electrically connected in series to a negative electrode constituting another adjacent light-emitting area.

摘要： A display device having high display quality is provided. In the display device including a plurality of pixels, adjacent pixel electrodes are formed over different insulating layers. Accordingly, when seen in a plan view, the adjacent pixel electrodes can be close to each other without constraints of design rules. Openings (light-emitting regions) of the adjacent pixels can be close to each other, leading to an improvement in graininess of an image. With the use of a step provided between the adjacent pixel electrodes, the resistance of an EL layer across the adjacent pixels can be increased to reduce crosstalk.

The first electrode has an upper face. The insulating layer is provided on the upper face. The insulating layer includes first to fifth insulating parts. The light transmissive part overlaps the first region of the first electrode when projected onto the plane. The light transmissive part makes a phase of a first light permeating the first region to be different from a phase of a second light permeating the second region of the first electrode.
