摘要： In a battery manufacturing method using a battery manufacturing apparatus, the battery manufacturing apparatus including a pressing unit, a measurement device, and a controller, the battery manufacturing method includes steps of (a) pressing a battery member by a pressing unit, (b) measuring, after the pressing step (a), by the measurement device, characteristics of the battery member, which has been pressed by the pressing unit, and (c) controlling, after the measurement step (b), by the controller, a state of pressing of the battery member by the pressing unit in accordance with a measurement result of the measurement device.

摘要： Ingestible event marker systems that include an ingestible event marker (i.e., an IEM) and a personal signal receiver are provided. Embodiments of the IEM include an identifier, which may or may not be present in a physiologically acceptable carrier. The identifier is characterized by being activated upon contact with a target internal physiological site of a body, such as digestive tract internal target site. The personal signal receiver is configured to be associated with a physiological location, e.g., inside of or on the body, and to receive a signal the IEM. During use, the IEM broadcasts a signal which is received by the personal signal receiver.

The electrode assembly may be effectively fixed inside a can as a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape attached to an outer circumferential surface of the electrode assembly is formed into a 3D shape by an electrolyte. Thus, the electrode assembly does not move and rotate inside the can due to external vibration or impact and damage of welded regions of a tab or disconnection of inner circuits can be prevented.

摘要： A battery unit is housed in a metallic battery case. In the battery unit, current collectors having bent portions on both sides are fixed to face surfaces of an electrode plate group of a prismatic battery. The portions of the battery case, which correspond to the bent portions, are pressed in a thickness direction. Under the pressure, a short circuit inspection for a short circuit between the battery case and the current collectors of the battery unit is executed. When a projected object exists on the bent portion, a short circuit is generated between the battery case and the current collector by pressing so that a short circuit failure caused by a shape of the current collector can be detected.
