A receptacle-side connector (3) includes a metal plate (mid-plate 32) and a shell part (23). 摘要： A multipole connector includes a connector body that includes a first end surface and a second end surface; a plurality of contacts that are arranged and led to the first end surface of the connector body; and a ground plate. The multipole connector is connected to a cable in which ground meshes forming external conductors that are to be grounds and core wires that are to be signal lines are insulated from each other by an inner jacket and the outer side is sheathed with an outer jacket. 摘要： A lock part for locking an inserted state of a flexible printed circuit (FPC) is provided, in a housing of a connector, on both sides of an insertion portion in a width direction. Each of the lock parts has an arm portion and a projected portion formed on an inner side portion of the arm portion in the width direction and is protruded into the insertion portion. The arm portion has a cantilever shape with a stationary end and a free end and extends, in a depth direction, to the free end from an insertion side portion on an FPC insertion side, and can be elastically deflected outward in the width direction. The projected portion has tilted portions tilted relative to the depth direction toward the free end and the insertion side portion, and is detachably engaged with a notch on a side of the inserted FPC in the width direction.

摘要： A cable connector assembly has a connector and a cable with a number of coaxial wires and a number of unshielded wires. The connector includes an insulative housing with a front tongue and a rear end, a number of contacts with mating portions exposed on the front tongue and connecting portions exposed on the rear end, and a spacer assembled to the rear end. The spacer forms a plurality of positioning holes extending therethrough along a front-to-back direction, and a passageway extending therethrough along a vertical direction perpendicular to the front-to-back direction. The coaxial wires are inserted through the corresponding positioning holes and across the passageway to reach the corresponding contacts along the front-to-back direction so as to cut the coaxial wires in the passageway along the vertical direction.
