The body housing includes a first receiving section, a second receiving section and an inner wall. The first receiving section is provided with a pair of guides positioned on both sides thereof and a first card terminal disposed along a major surface of the first receiving section. The second receiving section includes a second card terminal disposed along a major surface of the second receiving section. The inner wall extends perpendicular from the first receiving section to the second receiving section such that the second receiving section is stepped with respect to the first receiving section. The separate casing is secured to an upper portion of the body and separates the first receiving section from the second receiving section.

    • The present invention provides a crack-free electrical connection structure between electrical components and a circuit board in a connector device by soldering electrical wires to through-holes of the circuit board. Retention members (40) formed integrally with the connector device have slots (36) and channels (58, 62) intersecting inside the slots (36). Projections (54) are located at an exit of each channel (58). Ends of electrical wires (90) are stripped to expose core conductors (92) and they are bent in a generally L-shape to be disposed in the respective channels (58, 62) of slots 36. The projections (54) keep the exposed core conductors (92) in position, thereby simplifying electrical connection with through-holes in the circuit board.

    • The present invention relates to a device for connecting two electrical circuits (2,17;15,16) by a connection which permits that the two circuits easily can be separated and reunited again at the same time as interference and scratching noise in the connection mechanism are avoided. A first carrier (14, 28) is movable around a shaft (1), which is fastened onto a second carrier (7, 29). The first carrier (14, 28) can easily be removed from the shaft (1) and refitted again. The first carrier (14, 28) has a projecting part (8, 23, 30), which presses against an electrically conducting elastomer (4,18a-l, 21, 33) localized on the second carrier (7, 29). On the projecting part (8, 23, 30) there is an electrically conducting part (9, 20a-l, 24a-h), which is connected to a first electrical circuit (2,17) localized on the first carrier (14, 28). The electrically conducting elastomer (4,18a-l, 21, 33) is connected to a second electrical circuit (15,16) localized on the second carrier (7, 29). By means of co-operation between the projecting part (8, 23, 30) and the elastomer (4,18a-l, 21,33), an electrical connection between the first (2,17) and the second circuit (15,16) is achieved.

    • In a PC card, a casing and a card are rotatably and bendably connected to each other by a hollow connecting member. A flexible wiring member is disposed in the connecting member and electrically connects the casing and card. The connecting member has a rotatable piece received in a first receiving portion formed on one end of the casing, a first cap rotatably supporting the first receiving portion and rotatable piece, an arm inserted at one end thereof in a second receiving portion formed on one end of the card, and a second cap rotatably supporting the second receiving portion and arm. The other end of the arm is bendably connected to the rotatable piece. The casing is freely moved about the arm in the up-and-down and right-and-left directions, as desired.
