摘要： An example method for fast ramp start-up during analog to digital conversion (ADC) includes opening a feedback bypass switch coupled to an amplifier to initiate an ADC operation, providing an injection current pulse to an inverting input of the amplifier, where the non-inverting input is coupled to a feedback bypass switch, integrating a first reference current coupled to the inverting input of the amplifier, where the integrating of the first reference current occurs due to the opening of the feedback bypass switch, and providing a reference voltage in response to the injection current pulse, the integrating of the first reference current, and a reference voltage coupled to a non-inverting input of the amplifier, where a level of the reference voltage is increased at least at initiation of the ADC operation in response to the injection current pulse.

摘要： A system and method for generating a reduced transition time ramp waveform signal are disclosed. Two offset, synchronized ramp waveform signals are generated. Each ramp waveform signal has a repeating sequence including a linear development segment, an upper transition segment, a return segment, and a lower transition segment. The ramp waveform signals are offset synchronized such that the linear development segment of each ramp waveform signal begins before the linear development segment of the other ramp waveform signal ends. Each ramp waveform signal is sampled during its linear development segment to generate a reduced transition time ramp waveform signal.

摘要： An inverter coupled to a source of DC input voltage is operated at the horizontal deflection frequency for developing a horizontal rate square-wave supply voltage. A power transformer having a first winding excited by the square-wave supply voltage develops a horizontal rate alternating polarity output voltage across a linearity correction winding. A phase control circuit phases the alternating polarity output voltage relative to the phasing of the horizontal scanning current so as to apply a greater magnitude voltage across the horizontal deflection winding during the last half of the trace interval of each deflection cycle than during the first half of the trace interval. In this manner, linearity correction of the horizontal scanning current is obtained. The linearity correction winding is electrically disconnected from the circuit during the horizontal retrace interval in order to control the amount of power introduced into the deflection circuit via the linearity correction winding.

The SSVD circuit loads the horizontal deflection circuit at a vertical parabolic rate providing East-West pincushion correction. Because of the inductance of the vertical deflection winding, the parabolic loading is asymmetrical, producing a keystone-like raster distortion. A correction circuit, such as a constant current source coupled to the vertical deflection winding, substantially reduces the asymmetry of the loading thereby substantially reducing the keystone-like distortion.
